Good parts about ichyosaurus (mobile) - THESE FEATURES ARE ONLY IN MOBILE AND I HAVE NOT TESTED ON COMPUTER

1. You can hold a item while riding it. So you can tame things while riding it or get oil from underwater.

2. If you got ascendant saddle from quest and have high level ichy, they'll be extremely powerfull

3. Dodo kibble tames them very fast. Ingredients:Cooked meat, mejoberries, rockarrots, fiber, water, dodo kibble

Best tame ever. Now you bloodthirsty chat members will down vote bc of me saying this but hear me out. If it dies just get one from the seemingly infinite amount of them and tame it. The saddle is the easiest thing to make ever so make it and mount it! I got a lvl 10 Basi with this and surprisingly it had no protection around it. I was able to tame it so now I have my lvl 40 basi, Davy Jones.

Seriously get this it can kill megs, the carbonemes of the sea!

Once you feed it the raw meat, it will potentially bring its buds with it. I got 9 of them by that. It was awesome and you can go pretty much anywhere with them. They are the fastest under sea animal that I have ever tamed

I tested the no aggro ability on a school of mantas, I lost my best friend to it /moment of silence for Itchy Fishy/...

If you wanna go somewhere on water this is a must need.

Their saddle is inexpensive and they are speedy as hell, easily being the fastest water mount the game has to offer.

Their taming is relatively easy, doesn’t take that much time and you only need like 9 meat. Also they don’t get aggroed on in mobile.

In general, this creature is a massive win when it comes to speed, traveling and gathering underwater resources.

They are early game tames but I’m in mid game and STILL haven’t got these things because of those stupid stupid sharks!

update: ichthys noW GET AGROOED AT EVERYTHING IN THE OCEAN THIS HAPPENED TO ME YESTERDAY WHEN MY ICHTHY WAS KILLED BY A MANTA

They are faster than megs so you can go down and get oil come back

I don’t know if the game is made like this but nothing attack’s me when I’m riding mine so I hope that is what’s suppose to happen.

Did you know that these guys are actually more aggressive than you think? We know they are friendly to the player and tames but it’s not the same for wild Dino’s they hunt kariukus which actually kinda makes sense (I think) but you might be able to see one fight wild ankys or carbomenys/turtles

Make a trap, lead it inside the trap,place a Ceiling so it doesnt get out, use a soothing balm or minor balm or major balm, tame it with dodo kibble, enjoy (◠‿◕)

How to tame one [ASA]

STEP 1. Make a trap and make it small so it doesn't swim around as much. Any material works fine since they're passive, but beware of other dinos.

Recommended Trap:

In the middle (The space), you place your opening (Check the "more" section if you're unsure of what it can fit through). Make sure to keep the opening in the middle opened and make it so the itchy can't swim out of the top/sides.

STEP 2. Find one, but don't feed it, closer to the trap you find it the better.

STEP 3. Bring it through the opening in your trap, it should follow you but it might swim off occasionally.

STEP 4. Shut the ichty in the trap, beware of all aggressive/territorial dinosaurs nearby.

STEP 5. Head to your base and get:

1. Required amount of taming food of your choice (Check "info")

2. A itchy saddle (Requires level 13, supply drops might give you one too)

STEP 6. Feed the icthy till it's tamed

STEP 7. Put the saddle on

STEP 8. Do something awesome (and probably die)

Tried taming it where 15 megaladons were... did not go well. I tamed it barely and immediately all the megaladons attacked it, killed it, and ate it...

Yeah, bad day.

Dont feed it raw fish meat!!! Normal raw meat tames literally so much quicker up so more people can see

I’m pretty sure they make compy noises. I was trying to tame one and I kept hearing a compy, like really close. But it confused me because compys shouldn’t be underwater but nope, it’s an ichthyosaurus.

(I don’t know if it’s a bug or something but it’s kinda funny)

Still get unnerved by how nothing will arggo while riding an itchy- drove past dozens of megalodon and mantas and didn’t get attacked. Don’t get off near any aggressive creature tho- because it will kill you on site

Ok I have a question.

So I had 2 icthys and it was amazing, they didn’t make anything aggro,but 2 Brontie fell in the water and killed them accidently. So I had to get a new one. It took ages but I eventually tamed one. But as soon as it was tamed 2 megs attacked it. It barely survived, but out when I was taking another icthy with it all the megs and mantas started to attack it. I’m so confused the other ones didn’t make anything aggro

This critter is actually very good and easy to tame but it might take a little time to get the saddle but just kill a dodo then start taming this thing it’s pretty good and is one of the better water creatures

Guys just bump all stats to speed trust it’s insanely fast
