Easy detailed tame guide:

-Craft rat treat kibble in cooking pot or industrial cooker

-Gather a minimum of 10 looted items (e.g. primitive parasaur saddle from white beacon or Ascendant pike from red beacon - It can literally be ANYTHING but the higher quality loot gives better tame %)

-Locate helicoprion and drop a single looted item in its vicinity.

- Interact/mount the helicoprion - it will them give you buttons/keys to press. Successfully completing 9 of the prompts/button presses will begin the taming progress and kick you off the helicoprion.

-Repeat this until the helicoprion is tamed.

Pro tip: clear out aggressive wild dinos in the vicinity of the Helicoprion you want to tame - Thank me later

1.get colored loot(ramshackle apprentice etc)(you can get colored loot in these ways)(drop killed animal inventory’s)2.make rat fish treats. Rat fish treat ingredients. Tusoteuthis tentacles, ammanite bile, and giant bee honey.3. Find helicoprion. Helicoprions share spawn points with megs. 4.Taming helicoprion. To tame you have drop your colored loot by the helicoprion which allows you to ride it. Then you have to press certain buttons to stay on. Wait till its tired and you can feed it the rat fish treats.enjoy.

Who ever said it spawns in lvl 1 megs that is not true it spawns in random lvl megs just saying

After creating it’s preferred food in cooking pot (10 ammonite bile, 4 tuso tentacles, and 6 bee honey) put in last slot in inventory to feed passively.

Bring a few premade ascendent items (higher the quality, shorter the ride) toss out one item near it, it’ll then go to eat. When it eats item go up and mount it to start rodeo, it’ll then ask you to press a button (typically a direction on d-pad for controller players). Once it is tired, option to feed will pop up. Feed it, it’ll knock you off. Avoid for a little bit, then throw out another item to start again. Continue till tamed. Took 3 preferred food to tame lvl 60 on x2
