quick tip to go faster with a Griffin. when diving, try landing slightly tilted, for some reason it carries the momentum you previously had, after landing, start flying a second. you’ll basically be slingshot though it only works maybe 50% of the time.

U know what’s stupid?? You can shoot ur gun off the back of a griffin, but not on a Wyvern, Quetzal, or giga, I can shoot off the back of a raptor! Just stupid 😑

I just tamed a my first Griffin on mobile (lvl 40) I would advise pumping up the health and stamina because I almost lost mine as a result 😳 I was sky diving and it ran out of stamina and almost died. I then got attacked by some allos. Would definitely advise pumping in some health and stamina

Honestly,easiest way i tamed a griffin on mobile was to fly up with a ptera and use the typical,althpugh ive also tamed them easily without the pen.Theyre honestly the best mounts in ark(mobile specifically) and its worth it. THOUGH if your taming ide use a major soothing balm otherwise it takes so long to tame.and if youre breeding griffins in mobile they need to have the smae last syllabel(AKA they must be from the same house/family),ect: they could be called aniys,and daeerys,-both have the YS name,there fore they can breed. :)

I was playing on fjordur and I tamed one of these, but after taming it had literally 50 health! It was low level but that’s just ridiculous! It had plenty of hp when I was taming it! Is this normal?

Can someone tell me what the difference is between the Royal Griffin and just the Griffin? They look the same to me. 🤷‍♂️

You can actually turn these into royal griffins no cheats or mods I'm on xbox one btw I tamed a griffin named it royal griffin because it looked so much like one i can tell royal griffins and griffins from the padings under there wings I looked at um and they were crown yellow wich means royal.

My personal favorite for quetz taming due to it being the only flyer with the weapon comparability plus it have great speed and power

With bad health and insultingly low stamina the griffin was previously useful for Quetzal taming and that's about it. Now you can use weapons on the Desmodus (which also has better health, better stamina, better mobility but can't glide as fast), so griffins are truly useless

I hate these guys! There stamina is awful and so is there melee. Mine died to a low level wyvern when I tried to get eggs. He was over level 200. They are the easiest way to get a quetz though... 5 out of ten recommend cause they are the easiest way to get quetzals.

Captered a level 56 (after gaining 17 levels due to taming success). Was super excited, but this thing is honestly pretty disappointing. Not as fast as expected, the stamina depletes insanely quick, and the melee damage is laughable. Also a very tiny payload. I have a level 250 something Argy that ive been leveling up for awhile, and it would destroy this. Still stoked that i finally got one, but damn.
