Taming a griffin is pretty easy

First if u find a griffin. sleep near at it

Until you wake up knock out them using ur

Trang/narcotic arrow . After you knock out them

Look in griffin food.

No traps! Only use nets and stuff and there you go! First net then tranq then kill paracers in the area to get prime. Tame then.

Best is to ride a snow owl whilst searching for one, if you find a high lvl griffin you can pretty much use any method to knock it out. When it gets bloody just heal it

Step one kill a gifion lol🙂 but you need to be lvl 90 to tame a giffion

You can use tranq arrows to knock out a griffin, it just takes longer and if you don’t space out your shots (about 5 seconds), you’ll end up killing it. I’ve tamed three already. Levels 50, 85, and 140

Trap it in stone or metal gates. Have 3 to 5 and to doors. Put the doors on each gate that the griffin could get out.

WARNING! They have a bug that occours when it disrender while knocked out its taming will reset. I have experienced it 3 times with the same griffin only shove your meat in it if its food is already drained or you will be there for the whole process.

Old kibble does not work the app is wrong.. just used allo kibble on a griffin and was getting 0.1 taming..

Put 6 Dino stone gateways down in a line far enough so the griffin can’t fly out and on the two sides put Dino gates down. Next leave a unwanted tame in the pen so you have time to close the doors. After you have shut the doors shoot the griffin with tranq darts. Use allosaurus eggs for the kibble. I hope this was helpful:3

It can die by tranq arrows. So use tranq darts!

I have messed up so many times when taking a griffin because of their low health so when taming wait about 5 to 10 seconds between health.

All you need is 3 stone gateways and 2 gates. Just make it go in the trap and then shoot it with a crossbow but you will have to wait a few seconds between shots or it will die.

If you make a regular taming pen with a roof you can trap almost any flier including griffin

Your going to want your trap near the plains by green on, Have 5 Dino gateways lined up next to each other with 2 Dino gates on each end. Have each space big enough to just barely fit a ptera thru. After that have one gate opened and one closed and agro a griffin. Lead it thru the trap and fly thru the top then while it's still agro on the ptera on the closed gate side, close the other gate and tranq!

The taming calf is wrong!!! You will need more narcotics and it will take longer!

I tamed a 145 with mutton and it took 45-50 tranqs and took around an hour to tame

allo kibble is so much better then prime meat

If you do not have a trap definitely make sure you have a tame that can soak hits while still being able to pull out a weapon on the tame, I reccomend a thylacoleo if you are attempting this method but I strongly advise people to use a trap, I reccomend a trap that is 5 dino gateways long with gaps only humans and smaller creatures can fit through along with dino gates on the end dino gateways!

Build an enclosed area that a ptera can get through just not a griffin and lure it in. You'll be able to tranq it (or crossbow) it without having to bait it. Make sure to close the dino gate
