Stories Tips

What are some stories about the griffin? Memorable griffin stories, wild encounters, and fan fiction.
One day, I was flying around on my Argentavis when I found a pond with a bunch of silica pearls. (I was on Fjourdur) I got off my argy and started collecting the silica pearls until I heard my Argy taking damage. I saw that a Griffin was attacking it. My argy was strong and I knew it would win so I just waited for it, not wanting to risk dying myself. But they both started flying up in circles when I got distracted by terror birds. I was able to kill them with my sword, but when I looked for my argy I couldn't find him. That was until I saw a dead Griffin fall from the sky. I looked up and saw that it was SO HIGH that I could barely render it. He was too far for me to whistle follow or anything, so I literally had to use my only tranq arrows to tame a Pteranodon, then I had to go make its saddle. Then I had to fly up and whistle it follow. I'm never collecting silica pearls from there again

Chapter 1.
Helen sat in the plane thinking about her destination and what kinds of animals she might find there. Maybe some rare crossbreeds! Suddenly a large boom interrupted her thoughts. BOOM! “The plane is going down!” The pilot yelled. Helen rushed in vain to where the parachutes where. But it was too late. The plane crash-landed and everything went black.
Later Helen woke up in a world she had never seen before (The arks) with strange new creatures…

The Isle Of The Griffins Chapter 19
Lolite followed the two griffins and dilo down a staircase of carved reddish rock. Occasionally he'd encounter nests of glowing beetles or fat black spiders, but they scurried away into hollow roots or cracks in the walls if they saw him.
Goldenbeak stopped at a dead end and reared onto her hind legs and tail to free her talons, moments later there was an echoing click and the seemingly solid wall swung inward with a quiet grinding of cogs.
They stepped through the doorway and Käärme knocked it shut with the tip of his black snout.
After walking a distance through the tunnel, they rounded a corner and emerged into a dappled greenish twilight behind several large pinkish rocks.
"We'd best not attract too much attention yet, and nothing's going to attract attention like a dragon on Erythala" Grappleclaw said,
Lolite responded by camouflaging himself, now only visible from a very slight shimmer in the air that could easily be missed.
Both griffins nodded to each other and continued past, with Käärme trotting after and Lolite slightly behind, he observed their surroundings properly for the first time, they were inside a gigantic crater in the ground, it was too big to see even a quarter of the way across, but the curve of the reddish stone wall was clearly visible. The reason for the dim light was several huge pillars spaced unevenly but always far apart- they looked like some sort of giant tree trunks- from the tops of which spread branches and massive almost perfectly circular leaves that must have been twice as big as an average wyvern's wings.
The ground had no grasses growing on it but was covered with soft, damp cerulean moss and mushrooms, some of them were the same species of large pink-and-white beelzebufo-stools that grew within Drake Mountain, while others were a kind of plump brown mushroom with yellowy bumps that Lolite had never seen before.
Lolite was dragged from his observations when three sandy coloured griffins walked nearby, a particularly small golden-brown dilo ran after them with a leather collar around it's thorny neck.
Lolite froze in place, hoping not to be spotted, as they went past, the smallest griffin, who had a dark stripe over one of their eyes, glanced in Lolite's direction, but shook their head as if to dislodge a wayward thought and continued on.
Not long after they passed the three griffins, Goldenbeak quietly looked about for anybody near and pushed down hard on a rounded stone with a silvery vein through it, and with a familiar click and grinding of gears, a thick stone door swung out of the wall behind them, starting to slowly unwind and close soon after. All of them quickly scuttled through as it closed with a thump and another click, arriving in a house carved out from the rock with a carpet made from the fur of mammoths, there was a darkly coloured griffin with a white stripe down the middle of his face from the base of his beak to his shoulders was sitting in what appeared to be a chair made of cultivated mushrooms behind a carved table, apparently playing a game of chess with a glowtail.
The Four Treasures
Chapter 7
BloodCrow ran for the pulsating, floating object and crushed it, darkening the cave. The sound of the legs of the hive sounded around them. They fought hard and valiantly. After 3 whole hours they finally killed the queen. They limped out of the nest, barely alive. They both fainted outside the cave as they heard little patters of feet. The last thing BloodCrow remembered was being slowly dragged.
“The prophecy is true! MintLeaf, you were right!”

The Isle Of The Griffins chapter 17.
Lolite hit the red stony ground with a thud, shaking himself free of what remained of his ivy restraints.
"Good to see that you're here" Grappleclaw said to Goldenbeak.
"It's unfortunate timing for you to inconsiderately be blown a hundred miles by a hurricane, though"
"I didn't have much choice in the matter" Goldenbeak replied.
"And what makes it unfortunate timing? Who died in Erythala?" she continued,
"We don't exactly know yet" Grappleclaw said, "only that it involves snakes and several missing griffins, the glowtails are investigating the matter. But have found nothing"
"Best get to returning I guess"

Chapter 11
They followed the raptor, until they found a desert. A huge, gaping desert ready to swallow unfortunate travellers. Smoker walked slowly onto the white-hot sand. BloodCrow watched from above.
After hours of walking, they came to a huge, spiralling tower with an entrance big enough for them all. They entered the damp, musky area. And fell. Down and down they went, screeches and roars and caws echoed from the walls. After what felt like forever, they hit soft, padded ground. The raptor stood and gaped.
“Now this is what I call the library!” It squealed excitedly.
“Hello. And what are you doing in the library of knowledge?” A mysterious voice said.
The Great Griffin Escape: Part 1
(A Detailed Version Of A True Story)
I was sitting astride my golden, turquoise, and black scaled pteranodon, Thorondor. It was just after sunrise, and the sky was bright with pinks, oranges, and golds all swirled together in a beautiful display. It was nearly freezing atop the mountain. The hide clothes I had on provided little protection from the freezing temperatures. As I held tightly onto the reins of Thorondor, I looked to the left. There, was my perfectly set up trap, made of stone and unbreakable wood. The gates on either end were open, waiting to cage their next victim. Looking to my right, there was a beautiful beast lying on the ground. It had the beak, wings, and front talons of a great eagle and the back legs and tail of a lion. Its countless feathers were stained with blood and it’s sides no longer rose or fell. The Griffin was dead. I had never meant I kill it, but it made a wrong move and I had no choice. It was either me or it, and it was going to be me. I looked forward again and over the edge of the mountain side. There, lying along the ground, was another Griffin. Its feathers were a deep shade of brown and it was snaking happily on a small Lystrosaurus in its talons. That was the one. That was my target. But before I even had the time to gather my supplies, the Griffin stopped its meal and looked up to sniff the air. Something had caught its attention. I looked around, worried that something dangerous was nearby but I saw nothing but cliff-side and redwoods far below. I turned my gaze to rest on the Griffin again, but to my surprise, it had vanished. I cautiously guided Thorondor to the very edge of the cliff and looked over it. Before I could even react, I was met, face to face with the golden eyes of the Griffin. Its beak was stained with Lystrosaurus blood and its claws were unsheathed. It was ready to kill. “MEN HI!” (GO NOW) I yelled pulling back on the reins of Thorondor and guiding her into the air. The Griffin shrieked and swiped its enormous front left foot, armed with three razor sharp talons, at the beak of my pteranodon. I pulled back desperately on the reins and the swing of the Griffin missed by no more than an inch. Immediately, I turned Thorondor around and gently tapped her with my foot, telling her to accelerate to a full speed fly. She called back to me in recognition and continued onward as fast as her wings could carry her. The could hear the hurricane of wing beats behind Thorondor and I as the Griffin perused its target. The hunters had become the hunted. But I refused to look over my shoulder, I knew exactly where I needed to go. No more than 20 feet away from me, was the trap. I was not planning on this situation, but it might be my only shot at survival. Then, Thorondor let out a short cry as she gave way to another small burst of speed. I didn’t want to look back, but I knew that the Griffin had bit her, and gravely at that. “Ech pol car ed…” (You can make it…) I said softly to her, hoping the same thing to myself. Before I even knew it, we were at the entranceway of the trap, with the brown Griffin directly behind us. Without hesitation, I led Thorondor inside, mazing quickly between the stone pillars in the center of the trap, made to catch the Griffin. As soon as I passed the pillars and was out into the chilling air, I led Thorondor around in a circle to go and close the gates. But to my dismay, I found the face of the Griffin instead. Quick as lightning, it flew forward and slashed a large hole in the right wing of Thorondor. She shrieked, and flapped desperately, but it was of no use, her wing would never work. With a cry of despair, Thorondor gave in and we fell from the sky, landing with a thud on the ground that was five feet below us. I immediately jumped off of Thorondor as I knew that she could not carry me any further. I rolled onto my back on the grass and looked up, the wind knocked out of my lungs and my right arm throbbing. There, hovering above us, was the brown Griffin. It had caught its prize at last. Thorondor made a small sound as she desperately clawed at the ground, hauling herself forward another few inches. But we both knew that it was useless. We were at the mercy of a Griffin, and we were about to be breakfast. With a mighty shriek, the Griffin reared its head back and unsheathed its back claws. It was about to swoop down and finish us off. Then, out of nowhere, an enormous, white scaled snout appeared. It grabbed the Griffin in its banana size teeth and reared backwards as the Griffin cried out in agony. Standing only a few feet away from the trap, was a Tyrannosaurus Rex. The Griffin desperately scratched and bit at the T-Rex’s muzzle, but it was useless. The Rex growled inwardly as it bit down hard into the Griffin’s abdomen, breaking its back. The Griffin fell limp as the Rex sniffed, turned around, and walked away, it’s footsteps shaking the earth. I guess we get to live another day.
The isle of the griffins chapter 14
Lolite followed the trail of para blood through the jungle, in some places the undergrowth became so tangled it was barely visible,
And in others the ground had almost soaked the blood up and he had to rely on his sense of smell.
Eventually the blood trail passed the entrance of an extremely thin canyon, so small that Lolite could only get one paw through.
Hooking his claws over a rough lump on the orange sandstone of the cliff, he climbed up onto the grassy summit of the hill,
He looked to the right, checking where the canyon was, and followed it until he reached a place where the canyon widened into a roughly circular space just about wide enough for a rex to stand with it's tail tip touching one wall and it's nose touching the other.
He was just in time to see the dilo creature slip into the clearing carrying the dead parasaur, a Griffin walked out from the shadows in closest side of the pit and greeted the dilo.
The Four Treasures
Chapter 10
They finally arrived to Rushy Bay, exhausted. They sat under a small crevice while Smoker stood outside. Finally, Smoker heard something.
“Hey, what’s that sound?” Smoker asked. They could hear a clicking sound. They stood up, coming out of the cave. The clicking came bigger.
A raptor came out with an object, looking disgruntled.
“I’ve walked for HOURS and I still can’t find the Library..” He sighed.
BloodCrow finally walked over and asked “ Do you need any help?”
“I guess so.” The raptor replied.
They wondered why he had that thing in his hand.
“What’s that for?” BloodCrow asked.
“It’s a GPS, I’ve been tracking this library for a multitude of days. I’m getting close.” He replied Wanna join me?”
“Sure then.” They all replied.

The Four Treasures
Chapter 9
After BloodCrow had thanked the Seekers that saved them, Smoker, MintLeaf and BloodCrow walked off into the daylight. They walked for hours and after that, settling on Smoker’s back for a while.
After finding camp, they settled in for the night and slept for 9 hours (wish i could do the same). After coming across multiple villages of humans, they thought of what to do next.
“Should we go to Rushy Bay?” MintLeaf asked. “Or do we go to Sunny Valley?”
“All in due time, MintLeaf.” Smoker replied.
BloodCrow watched the sky fade into a baby blue as he walked off.
“Only one way to go, forwards.” BloodCrow grunted.

The Four Treasures
Chapter 8
BloodCrow woke up alone in a small cave beside Smoker. He stood up and walked out, limping on his limp leg.
The feathery raptors hid behind bushes, afraid of him.
“Is anyone here called MintLeaf? I need to talk to them.” BloodCrow shouted.
A mint green and brown deinonychus walked out of a den and up to BloodCrow.
“Welcome to the Seeker clan. This is our home. I am MintLeaf, our so called ‘Healer’. You are the one from the prophecy destined to come here.” MintLeaf told him.
MintLeaf shown BloodCrow around the dens and to the leader,
StoneWalker.
“MintLeaf, did the prophecy tell you about being a saviour of the ark?” BloodCrow asked.
“No.. why?” Mintleaf replied.
“Cause I want you to join our team to defeat the Sukan.” BloodCrow asked.
“Of course I can!” Mintleaf replied.

The Four Treasures
Chapter 6
BloodCrow watched the clouds pass as he sat on the rocks, Smoker by his side. Smoker towered over BloodCrow making him feel like a titanomyrma drone.
BloodCrow stood up, preparing to travel far and wide. Smoke huffed as he stood up, and walked off.
They arrived after an hour to a small hole in the ground, but somehow big enough for Smoker to fit. They squirmed through until they got into a huge cave. The walls were pulsating as if they were alive. But then they realized. This wasn’t a normal cave. It was the Titanomyrma hive. The walls started to turn into their true colours, the orange backs of the soldiers and wings hummed with energy. What’s that in the distance?
