Griffin are great for taming any slow land or sky dino just remember to pump it stamina up alot

If you are on mobile you can breed these they just need to have the same last three letters in their name

It takes forever to tame mine only goes up by 0.3 every time u probably need like 3000 narcotics

If you're level if your level is higher than 1 40 under trying to tame a level 11 Griffin do not use your fist because it will kill the Griffin

If your on a argy, and if one is chasing you and if your argy has been damaged, you should joust fly down in circle. Then they can't get you.

You should guide it in to a 5 dinosaur gateway long trap with dinosaur gates on each side you should bring a tribe mate with you to close the door once trapped run out one of the sides of the trap

I recommend using Tranq Arrows for taking griffin first make a taming pin first put 4 metal foundations then put 2 by 2 doors around every part but the front then put 4 roofs on the top of it then put normal dino gateway (metal) then put the gate in then leave it open and loure your griffin into the pin!

It will take hours if you feed it normal meat so feed it kibble or lamb chops

So first nock it out put Dino gates all around it (4 gates) and the Dino frame then you will have to stack pillars stone or metal to place a roof on the top.

Last time I did this then left the griffin by itself when I came back it was still in the pet but it was awakened.

You can feed any creature bio toxin and no heath will be lost but more torpor will be there than a narcotic.

Dododex is way off when it comes to the MOBILE/SWITCH version. To test I tamed a lvl 15 and it took only 13 Allosaurus kibble. It said I would need about 56.

You will get knocked off your griffin if you touch water! When I was flying I accidentally touched water and there just so happened to be a high level megalodon right below me and I think you can guess how that turned out.

This is how you tame 1. Get an artifact and tribute to get soothing balm 2. Knock one with shocking tranq darts 3. Feed it prime or raw meat 4. Terrorize you buddies base with you newly obtained griffin. Why in this order because if you don’t do it in this order than it take 7 hours and 700 bio toxin I learned the hard way

On mobile they take Allo kiblle but on console and PC they take the extraordinary kibble which you can get from wyvern eggs

It lands and pray for fast death unless a 100 noobs come

Ark Mobile- You need there Respect to tame so either your above lvl85 or wear your crown. You add your balm and tame with allo kib.. takes forever. Then again tame same house (last two letters) opposite sex, breed to get your egg and make griffin kibble feed the cannibal it’s own kibble for the effective tame.

Be ready to spend a few hours taking it u don’t have kibble and use allot of narcotics

When taming Griffin on Mobile. It is long and hard. You need a female and male with corresponding names such as if one ends with Grypron and other is Grypran then it wouldn’t work, since —on is different than -an. So find another with -on. Basically they need same name to freaking mate

If you use tranq arrows don't rapidly fire them space them out by counting to 5 from when you hit it

I play on mobile and the taming effectiveness drops to quick I am feeding it a lot of allo kibble but still no tame please help
