I've seen one in a mountain and it's name is not Griffin, it says "Auugast" something like that, but I can see the indicator saying it does not respect me so I believe it's a Griffin. Is it though?

Griffins are on island well at least for ark mobile there are found near the mountain near carnivore island

Most amazing thing ever I was in the Wyvern cave with my griffin and I get knocked out by a Lightning Wyvern and fall into the water and barely escape I come back 2-3 days later and I find this guy wandering around looking for me I brought him/her (gender is n/a) back to base and renamed it mr.loyal (don’t judge me)

Allolousars kibble is the griffin kibble I just tamed on and it is so cool

I was riding on my female raptor my other one followed us, well.... we ran into one and we started running that bird-lion thing killed my male raptor r.i.p

So this happened I found a griffin called barlimir and it said she respects me and it wasn’t tamed bc I was on single player and nothing says anything about it should I be worried •H•

I thought it wasn’t on the island but found a few at SE mountain up if helpfull

I found this one near the volcano in mobile, I didn't know what it was. I surrounded myself with spikes when it started to dive towards me. I killed it. Now I regret it, I couldn't find it anymore.

Praise to my Baryonyx, Steve (named after the baby Alligator at my local zoo) he full on saved me from a lvl 200 carno and same day took out lvl 100 argies and THEN, he topped it off by killing off a lvl 150 griffon, without Steve, I would’ve been dead meat in that area. (He’s lvl 110, he has GREAT attack and stamina, I transferred him over from gen 2)
