Alayays make sure that you have 2 crossbow 7 bows 1 longneck rifle make a trap out of 6 stone dino gates and 2 doors this will make tame your griffin a lot easier

You can’t run from this thing, unless you use an insanely fast dino for example a pteradon. I used a parachute and still died WHILE STILL IN THE PARACHUTE FLYING!

There is a insanely huge Griffin nest area in Crook's canyon. I found at least five there.

Your best bet is to trap it get a sacrifice pteranodon and hop out the trap and close it (like so people can see)

Who ever said that ‘15 griffins killed them’ I’m not expert but I’m pretty sure only one or two spawn at a time.............................................. even if not I doubt 15 spawn at same time :/

You can use a harpoon with net projectiles to down it for 1 minute and tranq it! After you net it build a trap around it if its high level.

For the people that are saying they spawn on val, they dont.

They were shown in the trailer but dont actually spawn.

They are very hot and can be very very unfortunate
