Can't seem to find any on lost island. Went to three different spawns and haven't found one. Found a lvl 120 alpha carno, but no griffin. I even watched a video on spawn location's. Still couldn't find one.

If you are a mobile player, you’re at the wrong place! This os a Griffin, while the Griffins on Mobile are called Royal Griffins! Don’t worry, i made this mistake too. Happy Taming!

To the person who said they can’t find any griffins on the switch: These are the locations I found my griffins: Dag Rock Valley, Upper Hidana, and Waterwall of the Ancients. Hope this helps!! ^^

Highly recommended to build cave before going after one, lost a 130 Griffin because of it, look up nooblets if your looking for build on cages, also explains where they are

Not gonna lie they look lowkey cute, until they start chasing you and clawing your eyes out of course

I found one of these while flying on my pteranodon and wow there aggro range is huge and they can chase you for days and not get tired.

You can find a griffin at a top of a hill in north zone 1 in a swamp but you will need like basically two T Rex’s and one argentavis

They are mostly found at far peak

You can find these on the crystal isles on PC

Holy CRAP! I was visiting the desert area on Crystal Isles, there's this small valley filled with nests and *dozens* of griffins. I kid you not, this is the place to be. A lvl 150 just randomly started chasing me when I was scouting levels. Long story short, best friends now.

Anyone else wish a hypogriff was added maybe in ark 2 a flying horse wouldve been sweet

I have no idea where to find the griffin I searched the old broken castle and only found a pit that scared me to death because it was pitch black even with a tel helmet can someone please tell me ( I’m a 11 year old that doesn’t know the names of the places of the map) where to find the griffin.

Griffin creature they are better than most animals. They are very fast. They have pretty good weight.

They are very common around the green obelosk

switch players on ragnarok these spawn frequently In the field between canyon and green ob and near alpha waterfall cave. Be ready to lead it to a pre built trap immediately because these things will just dissappear chasing a pt. I've lost a 140 because it agro pt and dissappeared while I was coming back after making trap.

Whilst me and my friend were taming one on fjordur 2 level 130s attacked my nearby starter base.... my guy called up his boys

DO NOT attempt to kite these with an Argent, I almost lost my best mount to one because we couldn't fly fast enough to get out of its attack range. If you run into one, my best suggestion is to turn tight circles as you fly up, which thankfully I figgured out with just a sliver of health left.

I guess I'll save the kiting for my best pteranodon from now on.
