Encountering Tips
How do I kill a griffin? griffin encountering and battling strategies in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
Dododex users say:
Use cover, terrain, or a secure trap to limit the Griffin’s movement, as its large turning radius can make it circle around obstacles while you attack from safety. Keep your distance and use ranged knockout tools, clear nearby creatures first, and be ready to pursue it before it flees when badly injured or nearly unconscious.
I sacrified my argi to tame one, got stuck in the cage and i spent a hour sitting with a sleeping griffin in one cage without any tames around. Atleast i tamed it.
