I've seen one in a mountain and it's name is not Griffin, it says "Auugast" something like that, but I can see the indicator saying it does not respect me so I believe it's a Griffin. Is it though?

A good way to tame is get a crappy pter, fly it in a trap made of door frames and a dino gate. Run out the doorframe, shut the door while it kills ur pter, then knock out when ur pter dies. Have an argy nearby for defense/ to help if anything goes wrong, and just so you have a mount to escape on if needed.

Use shocking tranq darts they works SO much better then tranq darts

Most amazing thing ever I was in the Wyvern cave with my griffin and I get knocked out by a Lightning Wyvern and fall into the water and barely escape I come back 2-3 days later and I find this guy wandering around looking for me I brought him/her (gender is n/a) back to base and renamed it mr.loyal (don’t judge me)

I have knocked out one I don't known that it usually will give 0.1% I was waiting it for be tamed by meat and when I see that it's 0.1% done I killed it.
