Last 4 tranq arrows and somehow 4 punches 😂 I will name him Clyde
Super easy with 4 Dino gate frames 2 doors and a snow owl 👍🏻
Trap it and tranq the frick out of that thing
DONT USE A CHAIN BOLA I used one and it spin out and died.....lel
I used tranq arrows to tame my level 150 so don't worry about having to use tranq darts. 😁
When I was in my quetzal using a metal bola it was Impossible to hit, I suggest making a trap because mine died from flying into a lake so lead away form lakes and make sure their are no dinosaurs around.
People told me that if you encounter one they're very vicious and will attack you. In my experience, they are not at all like that. They only hurt you if you get too close to them as they fly around in circles really fast. But they never target you and attack.
Be sure in the Ragnarok server Dino cap is available.... For not waste time, and go with 2 Dino: pterodon full stamina, and wyvern or another full attack and hp for kill Dino around for prime meat, only if you don't have allo kibble 😁
EASY way to TAME. Use harpoon gun and net projectile.
Tranq with Tranquilizer darts or better shocking darts.
It really works. Mutton or Prime meat.
Have fun!
Yeah. They’re pretty good, my favourite flyer and one is the more tactical over practical animals unless you really pump time and levels into this thing. It’s damage to begin with is kinda meh alongside its speed, however it’s unusual mechanics pay off in both of these areas. Since they are able to fly in any direction at a time without needing their obnoxiously large turning circle, it’s not hard to swoop in and/back out of fights when necessary. Alongside this, if at any point you need to dish out significant damage, the easiest way to do so is fly directly up or in the general direction upward and fly back down, holding up. This will creating a swoop, dive, whatever you want to call it and pulling up and timing a well-executed munch will do you well. You don’t need a saddle to ride them and they’re easy tame using the six-gateframe-two-gate technique.. They look pretty, sound pretty, and they aren’t a terrible animal overall.
Also name it Peter. Peter the Griffin.
Fun tip for when ur pvping:
-If you keep picking and dropping your target it cannot grapple you so they wont be able to get away since you keep cancelling their grapple causing them to run out of grapples.
-Always bring a flamethrower (Flame throwers only do passive damage and not instant damage)
-You can pick a wyvern rider if your right below them
This is a fantastic tame to get as soon as possible, they are one of the fastest flyers in the game and they also run fast too. They feel so nice to dive with, their attacks are pretty nice, when you want to turn just stop going fast and its turning circle becomes very small. They don’t use too much stamina too so you can spend those extra points elsewhere. They also allow you to shoot from their back making them one of the best dinos for your first Quetzal. Cheers!
If scouting for one: they fly a fair ways above tree lines until aggroed on something, then they'll be below it kicking up a large dust ring. Check for either sign before casually landing.
