Having a light pet on the shoulder of one of these guys provides infinite charge light, as in, the charge capacity of a light pet never goes down.

Then I did the chitin cave with my level 120 bred giganto and just killed everything in the cave in seconds. Morale of the story get a gigantopithicus as soon as possible since there easy to tame and are great fr early game as they don’t need a saddle
