Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a gigantopithecus? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a gigantopithecus.
Tamed my first Gianto by crawling naked on the ground with an otter on my neck.
The most effective food to tame is regular kibble
What do they eat?
I would like to know
Ok so to tame these just find one with an argy and make a small (ideally stone) 4x4 foundation with all the walls having windows. Oh and when your carrying it to your base find a safe spot to put the ape and eat like a dodo or parasour so your argy can regain health because when u r carrying an ape THEY ARE NOT NICE! So just eat something and regain some health and stamina.
These guys hate Dinosaurs and people that get near him so make sure you knock him and trap him inside put windows so that you can feed him put up if useful
Taco is there favorites
They like apple pie to
The kibble chart is off. It says 2 kibble for level 15 and it took me 4 regular kibble not 2.
Here is a passive tame trap for all the aggressive passive tames like this. ( can be made out of any material you want but stone or metal preferred.) place a pillar in the space needed and put a ceiling over it. Place a second ceiling next to the first one. Block off the ceiling with either walls or doorframes. Then if you have an argy drop the animal in. If not make a ramp up to the trap to trap it. Then just feed it through the floor and voila.
Hope this was helpful

These are PASSIVE TAMES. DONT be the idiot I was and knock it out, it WONT WORK
Get kibble....grab with crabs left claw...stand on crabs claw behind it and shove kibble up it bum....
The taming effectiveness on here is wrong. It’s goes does .5% every time
Best way to tame is by simply picking it up with a crab and crouching underneath it.
If he sees you he will beat you up
The kibble for these guys are a real pain to get but there is a way to get the Titan boa eggs to spawn for you. First you must have a argent or quetzal , 2nd you have to build a large pin in the swamp biome about 6 foundations wide and about 40 foundations long. Put a dino gate in the middle of the pin and make all the walls that have windows in them (use gate foundations to place the walls on the outer perimeter) and I made the pin half on water ,half on land. 3rd step is to use the argent or quetzal to grab Titan bias and drop them into the pin. Put about 10-20 Titans in the pin and fly away and come back after a few minutes. The eggs will spawn on the ground so get Argo and have them follow your flyer to once side of the pin. Then simply fly to the side where the eggs are and close the middle Dino gate on the way. It works and was the only way I was able to get Titan eggs. Perfect tame gigantopithecus are super strong and are able to solo any cave. The taming is really fast.
Do not agro this thing more than twice because taming bar will reset and then #RIP
Passive tame. Best way is a trap. Make a trap with one foundation block. Make walls on two sides and one side with a door. Build walls two high with a hatch for a roof and leave one wall open for him to walk thru. Find a bigfoot and lead him into the trap by making him aggressive (there very territorial). Once on the trap seal him in and replace the door with a solid wall. Once he starts to attack the walls replace them all and he will become passibe. Carefully feed home berry thru the roof wile laying on your stomach until he is tamed. DO NOT STAY ON ROOF since bigfoot is territorial you will run the rick of making him aggressive. 90% secsess rate.
Pick it up with a ab crab you wont get hit and he can't run.
Get a gille suit is get memos get one that somone hasn’t tried to tame lye down go to it feed it berries but don’t get to close it will kill you
When breeding these guys make sure you are ready with berries or meat to shove in the babies inventory or it will die! I didnt know this until 2min ago when my first baby died from starvation & now I have to go find another female to try again...be there the second the baby pops out of the mom with tons of food!
#PrayForShella hope you find your ape!
