It literally only took me an hour to tame a level 145 with only 50 mejoberries.

1. Gather berries and put the berries in your last slot

2. Kneel down and walk up to one of them and feed it the berries

3. Now you just follow it around while kneeling down and feeding it berries whenever it's hungry

4. Congratulations you tamed one.

Since they're commonly found in the red wood forest, I recommend only taming one if you're close to water as if you get attacked by something you can jump into the water to get away. Then when you think it's safe just go find your monkey and go back to following/feeding it.

Don’t put walls around when taming, put 4 doorframes beforehand, pick up with argentavis and then you can get close enough to tame easily, while it can’t get out. It does not fit through the doorframe. DO NOT PUT DOORS ON DOORFRAME.

You can swing on zip-lines with these like ravagers. When you want to off the zipline it’s a bit tricky and took me a while to figure out how to actually get off without just dropping, you need to be moving (W on keyboard or joystick on console) and then press jump.

Hey heads up it says that moschops is slightly better at fiber gathering, it should be a little wrong since moschops also gather a lot of that weight in berries, while Bigfoot gathers it with a completely seperate attack.

Since you're probably wondering....If you have a Monkey throw you with a Pyromane on your shoulder, and transform it to riding mode from shoulder mounted right before you hit the ground you will take 0 fall damage.

On Xbox, left tab throws you (It's like a spear, the longer you hold down the harder it throws, but there is a max), the other special attack, what you would use for crouching, is what you use to pick up only fiber, and regular attack only picks up berries. It can sprint, swim fast, and jump. Best of all it can wear hats. I equipped my hat with a cowboy hat skin, and it looks hilarious.

If you have a Sinomacrops on your shoulder you can use the Gigantopithecus to launch yourself in the air and glide away

Stay near by gigantopithecus in center for terror bird protection very useful in redwoods

These guys should be able to climb trees like some

People do and should wear full body armor and should be able to collect wood and thatch and stone with the right weapons

I plan to have a gorilla army that can breed give them flack/riot helmets name them bodyguard also set to aggressive and make them guard my base

Easy to tame if you can find them, they’re usually on the shore of the redwood or around/to the north of the pond on the east side of the redwoods. You can drop it into a trap that’s one high and then has ceilings around to feed it or anger it and trap it inbetween three Dino gates and with two doors. They’re strong and can hit into the thousands if you breed them well
