Always stay at least Two feet away from them when passive taming, they become angry when too close

These guys are just like the Chalicotheriums in terms of behavior: They are both naturally peace-loving creatures, however both are seriously enraged if you get too close.
Use minor balm and titanoboa kibble
She just take 1 Kibble if low level
Fair warning which I wish I had read before, when you try to tame it (passive tame with mejoberries) it WILL ATTACK you, found out a little late and sadly my iguanodon (Iggwardo) was on neutral, so the Gigantopithecus hit me and my Iguanodon rushes to defend me... He died. Heed my advice, not just for you, but for Iggwardo. Rip friend. Stay safe ya’ll.
The person who lost the monke named shiela if your on mobile just request it if on pc we’ll say goodbye to her for a long time.
Ryans piercing nose monkey man
It’s really easy to tame just use a balm and feed it it’s a passive tame btw
Where Ghillie clothing. They are usually passive but when you feed them they attack you.
Try to not stay to close to them because they will Aggro on you
Tamed a lvl 85 Gigantopithecus with starve taming took 1 hour and 47ish minutes as opposed to 2 and a half hours just trap him in your house and don't let him out so he doesn't pick berries himself that's what I did
Tho it's shorter then a procoptodon it can't be carried by an argentavis >:(
When I read on the wiki about how these guys can pick berries for you I quickly built myself a plantation and now use ten as slaves totally worth it
Grab it with quetzal than lower it to ground don't drop it though, then get a friend to take it
When taming use ghillie and when it stops put spike walls down around it so you don't have to move as much.
