Might not be true, but in my experience, if you are riding a tame it’s aggro range is shorter.

Idk if it’s just me but it would be cool if this had a very small platform saddle unlike the other creatures where you can build huge bases. While on the giga, you should be able to build smaller, things and have room for one or 2 tames.

Heads up on single player there’s a bug idk if it is1 but when u cryopod a giga then throw it it’s damage and health go down drastically stat wise

If you have ark on Xbox or pc you can spawn in a really high lvl tamed one using admin commands

Really disappointing tame 😭 it’s Hp of course is still great at 18,000 it’s dmg is fine but a really strong spino is better at everything and it is easy to tame, and a Gigas stamina is sooooooo low, and it’s incredibly hard too tame 🥺😭😭😭😡🥺😭🙄

Confirmed on ARK mobile- lvl 245 kibble 10x balm tamed giga with 250% melee CAN kill wild lvl 40 giga- just be careful, as the bleed can be very dangerous.

Once a tamed giga gets below 50% health it freaks out on ANYTHING. YES, THAT MEANS YOU, THE MAN WHO TAMED IT. DONT LET IT GET BELOW 50%

Person who said they should be allowed in boss fights: The solution is to cryo one and bring it with you for an easy win .

I would reccomend buying a raised wine with 375 base melee, I had one it came out with like 615 melee and I could solo red drops on extinction, and could kill titans easy(get sac saddle)

I force tamed one, even with my server stats it kept its health but only did 20 damage. My rock drake did 18000. They are not worth it. It got a few levels and did 2000. On my server that is similar or less than a dodo. They can still take 9n Rex's

Is it normal to see one spawn every day will I tamed one and got 2 baby’s right one is a rainbow mutant baby is that normal 🆙 if yes don’t if no and these things need like 100000000000000 peace’s of meat when they are baby’s so be prepared

Let's talk about why gigas are (in my opinion) not recommended in the islands boss fights

Broodmother: brings at least 1-2 and a lot of megatheriums

Megapithicus: don't bring any they could get stuck or fall/glitch out like mine did

Dragon: don't bring, here is the reason 2 words RAGE MODE

If gigas take too much damage they will enter rage mode and will back stab you and you would be fighting your rouge giga

Overseer: bring ONE and whatever else you wanna bring cause the alpha overseer will do more damage (for those who don't know) and again rage mode might trigger on your gigas and might back stab you instead give support while riding your giga (or yuty) during the fight and whatever you do just don't stop paying attention to your giga I died twice to my own giga
