With a 150 perfect tame and a good saddle you can murder wilds.

I tame them daily I have magically power and know how long it takes between spawns take more than 100 plus extra arrows to he counter on the dododex is off by double on high level gigas...

My gigas destroy wild gigas..lol

Put 3 metal Dino gates down in a box without a closing on one end. Make sure the opening is facing the giga and open the gate on the other end,after that put a bear trap (large) in the middle of the gates. Once completed agro the giga to the opening of the 3 gates and run through the other side where the gate is open and close it. You have about 15 seconds after the giga steps in the bear trap to take a 4 th Dino gate and close the open end.The giga is now trapped now just tranq it down.Have a crap ton of narcotics ready because their torpor goes down really fast

So for the younger players and even some of the older players (who have been playing this game for a couple months.) You may wonder, "what do I level up in a giga?nothing seems to go up lots". Well don't you worry I'll tell you what to level up and why. Level up a giga's Melee damage. The reason is it's a percentage based stat and with a giga doing massive damage with leveling damage up by even .5% each time is enough to make a huge difference by the time it's max level. Trust me here damage is what you want.

If you can't build a trap the best place to tame a Giga in the island map is to lure it into smugglers pass. After it kills everything it will, guaranteed get stuck in one of the cliff faces. Just keep tranqing it. Once it's down wait till it loses 4000 torpor and activate 100 narcotics. This gives you ample time to build wood/metal spike walls around the unconscious Giga.

Ok I tame a lot of gigs around 20 in official servers and I've lost 2 tames which were the first and a 1 I fell asleep on well first of all a gig wakes up in minutes sure it's torpor is high but that doesn't mean anything bring at least 2000-3000 narcs I mean when u first knock it out don't just start rushing narcotics it'll be a waste you have to wait till the torpor drops almost all the way down then rush the narcs you will notice the torpor rises up slowly that's good but some 1 will have to always be by the giga I tame they solo or with a squad but if you are taming solo build a trap and no not stone has to be metal don't do the triangle thing or what ever they said their playing solo with god mode if ur playing on the island back by carno island the 2 cliffs side by side put 2 behemoth metal gates at the end leave 1 closed other open lead giga in to the back close other gate then u are set tranq it -ALONEARKER

Build a metal 4x4 3 height windows for less use metals sp 16 floor 48 windows place them and make a ramp to it then pull the giga ez tame

To tame, it's preferable to have a square made out of behemoth gates with ramps that lead well over the gates with a bear trap inside and a few species x on topper of reach of the giga, the bear trap will keep it stuck and you will be able to shut the gate safely. The species x will keep the torpor on the giga from falling while shooting it. Make sure to have a few friends helping out and more than enough tranqs and narcotics with you. Once it's knocked out, put the narcotics in and wait for its torpor to drop low, then spam a few hundred narcotics and you won't have to worry about it waking up in the 2 minutes, but still have someone watching it. If you have the kibble, it's preferable to starve tame it, that way if it wakes up, all you used were narcotics. Make sure when the giga starts to run away, turn off the species x so they won't end up knocking it out because they'll keep shooting it when it falls. Taming a giga is not for uncommitted tribes.

Gigas are good

Get a stone behe gateway and gate frame, along with 4 metal Dino gates. When you see the giga find a spot close by where the cliff has an indent and you can place the behe gate there and trap the giga after closing the gate. Then place the 4 Dino gates in front of the gate and once you do that you can open the behe gate and fire away until it is knocked out. Good Luck and Enjoy!

Get 3 crossbows about 500 tranq arrows a argentavis saddle of course and a buddy;) Fly with the argent and pick up the buddy and load dat boi up when knocked out just have a lot of patience and kill anything that will attack on sight even if it is far away. WATCH THE TOPOR it will drain very fast once you tame it your are unstoppable

Start writing your will

Trap it with 4 metal gates and a large bear trap and light it up with tranqs or get into a confined space with ledges and light it up then or of your feeling cheeky then shoot it on a quetz. When it is knocked out unload all your narcotics onto it and wait until it reaches between 12-13K narcotic and then proceed to put all required narcotics in. This will make the torpor climb throughout the entire tame and if it's safe you can leave it until it needs feeding.

Run from them

Don't underestimate these things they have a very high attack range and hitbox don't tame one unless you have enough resources and trapping it using metal Dino gates is the only way to go trust me I've lost a lot of Dinos trying to tame this thing ALWAYS BRING 3 TIMES MORE TRANQ ARROWS THN IT SAYS

Kills everything

Use 3 metal behemoth gates up against a tall wall or a mountain lead him in and shut gates behind him leave a Crack between them and shut gates. Use an ascendant cross bow as well takes way less arrows.

To take it down it would be best to lure it to a cliff and shoot it while it is sitting there. To keep it down without wasting narcotics, just sting it with a decent level scorpion about 30 times every few minutes.
