Where to find if you find tall mountains you may see a giga

To tame it just make the classic trap, place 3 metal behemoth gates in a square shape, keep some space inbetween them to shoot from the outside, then place 1 or 2 large bear traps in the middle of the three, make sure to make the trap on a flat area, open one of the gates (it doesn't matter wich one) and lure the giga into the trap, a pteranodon should be enough to do this, make sure to hit the giga at least one, i recommend aiming at the tail otherwise you'll get destroyed with 1 bite, onche the guga enter the trap, it will be caught by a bear trap, you have a few seconds to close the gates then beggin shooting and have a lot of patienece, stay away from the trap, something like 30 m should be safe.

If you play on mobile go to the lava cave at the southeast of the island and tribute the artifact of the massive until you have an ascendant rifle with at least 1000 damage, with this rifle you'll knock out the giga a lot faster and with less darts and you don't have the risk of the rifle breaking mid-taming, also go to the cave at the south of the island to get some soothing balm.

A lvl 150 without soothing balm and ascendant rifle will take more than 500 darts, it will break at least 1 rifle and will take more than 50 prime meat, that's a damn lot of brontos even with a high level rex, and mot of the prime meat will also spoil so you'll have to keep an eye on the giga very often, it will become anoying if the taming is far away from your base, and the giga will also need more than a whole hour to tame, also the tamimg efficiency will decrease and your giga will lose some levels.

if you have an ascendant rifle and soothing balm a lvl 150 won't take more than 200 darts, it will fall asleep a lot faster, it will only need like 6 prime meat, you can get that from a few brontos, stegos or mamoths in less than 5 minutes, it will take a few minutes to tame and the taming efficiency won't go lower than 98% if you take care of it.

Also be sure and I mean 100% sure that you have AT LEAST 1 entire stack of biotoxin (500) or a bunch of stacks of narcotics (at least 1000) in the case of a high level giga. I personally prefer biotoxin, it's easy to farm if you have a good crossbow or pike, even a sword works pretty well.

Find them at volcano do the trap knock them out and then all you need is 500 bio toxin and ten prime meat 😊hope this helped also good luck with the bio toxin jellyfish are painful 😣

This is one by my house that has 80k health!

Taming a Oversized chicken nugget: (giga) 1: Make 9 metal foundations and put them in a SQUARE FORMATION. ALL 9 MUST BE USED! 2: Make 36 metal walls. I know it’s a lot but trust me. Stack the walls 3x3 on each outer foundation. 3: For trapping purposes, make 15 stone walls. Stack 3 on the 3 metal walls in front, and 1 strip of 3 stone walls connecting to the ones you placed down. 4: made wooden/metal ramps up the opposite side of the 3x3 stone walls. 5: clear out the area. It is essential to do this or the giga will run at other things making you annoyed as crap. 6: lure giga into trap. 7: grab 100-500 tranq darts. 8: tranq the giga and soothing balm 10x or 15x. Feed it prime meat or quetzal kibble. 9: go home and do ice cave for saddle if you don’t already have one. 10: enjoy your new favorite killer. P.S. BEFORE YOU DO THIS DO LAVA CAVE FOR ASCENDANT CROSSBOW AND SOUTH CAVE FOR SOOTHING BALM. -Stumpy. (Tamed his first giga with this method at level 68.)

If u want a high lvl giga like mine witch is lvl 2,400 u can use god console to lvl it up to 1,000 while its still awake when its asleep lvl it up to tame it faster and hive it more lvls when its tamed lvl it up as much as you want

There’s actually an even easier way to trap one of these on mobile than using large bear traps. Basically, when no other animal is near a giga, it will just stand still. On mobile, gigas are actually not aggressive to all tamed creatures, so as long as you don’t hit it or dismount from your tame, you can ride right up next to a wild giga and it won’t even care about you. What I did is I waited for the giga to clear all animals in an entire area and stand still and I flew up to it on my pteranodon and placed 4 metal gates around its foot while it stood still like an idiot. By the time it started moving again it was already trapped. Ez tame afterwards.

I did this at only lvl 63 btw.

Just remember when leading them into the trap to stand atleast 3km away. Any less and they still manage to kill you.

If your on a steep enough mountain they can get over a dinosaur gateway wish I knew this before I tried to tame one

The simplest way to get unlimited shooting balm ×10:

1.Get the "Artefact of the hunter" for go directly to the artefact container just go <---

2.Tribute the artefact he Wil give you ascendant metal pickaxe / axe (blueprint), a ascendant fishing rod, some ascendant hide armor (blueprint) better armor than a flak, better fortitude than pelt armor.

3.from the 2nd tribute you will earn a shooting balm×10 and again some things

I aleardy have over 21 shooting balm ×10, I used over 34 for gigas, spino, rex, quetzal, mosasaur and more.

IF HE WILL DOESN'T GIVE YOU SHOOTING BALM : repeat 2.

Have about 20 titanoboas

It will noc it out in 20 minutes

Step 1: Craft kibble for Qez. I would recommend trading it.

Step 2: Knockout Qez, put kibble in, bring 500 bio toxin, tame it.

Step 3: Craft saddle and ride around mountains until you find a gigs.

Step 4: Just in case bring 120 trank dart and 3 long neck riffles.

Step 5: Be patient and keep shooting the gigs with trank darts until it’s knocked out.

Step 6: I would recommend having at least 4-6 soothing balms and 21 cooked prime meat.

Step 7: Put in bio toxicn and put in the prime meat and keeping using the soothing balm and feeding it the bio toxin while it’s eating the prime meat.

Step 8: After you tame it make sure to get on your Qez and go back and get the supplies to craft a saddle or grind for one, to get your gigs back to your base request it.

Step 9: Craft in at smithy and equip the saddle on your giga and boom you have a giga!

Step 10: If your play on a server or PvP server then research for further instructions, watch out for and thing that can make it enrage and never every leave it on passive.
