You can solo down them if you have a quetz. Trap gigs into any kind of rock and shoot arrows once stuck. Best way

Use metal dinosaur gates and bear traps to trap it if you cant get these lead it somewhere where you can get it stuck and I recommend taming it with 3 or more players so one can fly if it trust to run while the others shoot and if your meat taming have preserving bens or a fridge to store prime

You can use 4 Stone Behemoth Gates as a trap don't bother wasting the Metal Works just the same

I very easy way to knock out the giganotosaurus is to find a good area you would like to tame him in then kite him close to the area. Once that is done do a U shape with small metal gateways(no doors required). Put a large bear trap in the middle, kite the giga into the cube and he will get stuck on the bear trap for roughly 10seconds, quickly fly around the giga to the back but nake sure your out of his bite range because it can be deadly, then place the last metal gate closing up the u shape and making it a square . After you finish traping him you need to knock him out from a far distance away for from a qeutzal platform,which i usually perfer. After you knock him out make sure to pump him full of narcs after a minute or two ir he will wake up.

Best way to tame them from my experience on the island is to use metal behemoth gates to make a taming pen. Or to use stone (be aware it may break before you knock it out, so bring spares and get ready to risk life and limb), and shoot from a Quetz platform saddle. Bring lots of arrows, narcs and Kibble (if you're taming solo), and preferably a lot of cross bows or just a high damage journey+ one.

If you are having trouble knocking this animal out by your self,try having more people help you out. The best animal to help with this is a questzal with a plateform saddle so you can stand on the plateform and knock it out.

Have 10 stone Dino gates and gateways place 7 leaving enough space for the gigs to walk in have the gigs agri someone while the other person places the gates up the tribes builds on personally owned then the person who built the gates leaves the tribe so the gigs won't agro on the gates and destroy them Good Luck

My solo Tip. Fly an argentavis to required Giga then jump off above the Giga and grappling hook your argentavis and traq away ;)

For any types of severs including primitive plus can us stone gateways/brick gateways/metal gate ways/steel or metal pillars depending on server type with large bear traps after trapped in bear trap giga can not spin meaning a person can place them safely behind trapping in and tranqin' easily after you've down the giga can put wooden foundations with walls n ceilings to protect from other creatures and players

Note concrete and stone can be destroyed by giga but brick steel and metal can not be, and using pillars may be hard not having enough time to place so suggest doing 2sets of gateways then pillars if can obtey resources for these

Add about 100 -150 darts to whatever the dododex tells you it's always wrong not once have I knockout a high level giga and it been accurate based on 52 giga tames in the last 3 months

If you are to encounter this beast you should run no matter what for my friend had full riot gear and he still was one shot if you have a titanosaurus then go ahead otherwise get out of there make sure he is never in close enough range to bite you and he soon loses you that's all I have to say never try to knock him out on foot

If you want to knock it with tranq arrows you need a really op crossbow or bow but with normal ones you need more than 3 people to knock with tranq arrows because tranq arrows can’t catch up with its torpor drain... i had like 400 tranq arrows and a friend carrying me with argentavis end the result after i ran out of tranq arrows was just 0 torpor best way is to trap it and shoot

Passive tame with narcotics- just run up to them with narcotics in your hotbar and spam feed -you will tame it in no time. :)

Idk if it's like snow owls where they can fly threw pillars but if you use metal pillars in a wide enough area the use metal ceiling on a corner and attach metal ramps to it then if you get it chase you up and fall into the trap just shoot it with tranq to knock out and tame away probably want to be bring cryopod to get it out or you have to destroy trap to get it out

Anything other than a shocking tranq dart is a waste of resources if you want to knock a decent or high lvl giga

If you don't have any mutton or kibble, feed it narcotics, it's next favorite food. XD

This is a passive tame. Just run up to it and place meat or extraordinary kibble into its inventory. I got a level 150 giga doing this.

Once you get the gigs if you EVEN do and it’s shone how High-level use it to tank so u can use it to help you tame

You can probably do this but im not completely sure but heres a challenge:

Get a friend and make them get a crap ton of meat you yourself get a bow and tranq arrows find a giga and unload them tranqs (make sure you have narcotics)and start taming! Not easy but a challenge (get into leather armor for a good challenge)
