easy to tame solo on a quetz no need for ft raps you can use the environment I myself have tamed upto lvl 140 solo and my friend solo'd his 40 odd gigas (which he took to a Titanosaur fight) if you know what your doing easiest tame in the game

Everyone knows a wild giga is stronger than a tamed but at what stat can a wild be killed by tamed? Your giga needs at least 280 melee with over 35000 hp and at least a journeyman saddle so your rage doesn't go up for a lvl 5 wild giga. It is possible if raised. We have soloed a lvl 50. And wasn't even down half hp

Bring 2x to 3x tranq's you need if you solo tame, helps a lot when you run out of what it says in here generally run though 1.2x required from listings.

If you're not worried about having best efficiency (eg you just want it for eggs), once downed use a low level scorpion to boost the torpor.

I solo tamed one today, find a corner for them. Kite them into it, and 500 tranq arrows or so later you'll be good. Don't die!

Giga's are easily drowned and are extremely slow in water leaving them open for attacks

Make a trap squared from behemoth gates. With pincode on it. Put a bear trap in the middle. Then make a generator on a quetzal platform with a keypad. To close the door safely.

Use bear traps! He will get stuck!

If your on Rag just fly over it and shoot it with a high quality longneck. Shock darts will do the trick but I prefer normal darts. DONT EVEN TRY TO KNOCK THESE WITH CROSSBOWS OR ANYTHING ELSE.

Just use 100 bear traps big zones put as close to gether in doing this right know

The metal gate box trick works like a charm tamed a 135 giga with it

You can easily knock a 150 out using your fists.

Use Narcoberries instead of narcotics, when you feed them all when it's almost awake it will stay asleep twice as long!!

Knock it out, wait till torpor is 3k pump all narcs in it, it starves down before torpor is even finished rising

If u run out of arrows after 506 use a cattle prod it works I did it

Surprisenly easy to tame only 251 tranqz with crossbow and on a 2x tame speed day its only a 3h tame my 135 pteranodon was 2h

Two Person taming:

You need: around 30 Spike walls, an Argent, grappling hooks

One of you takes the Argent, the other one shoots a grappling hook on the head of the Argent, now just fly over the Giga and Trank it out! build spikes around it amf Make sure that one of you always Looks after the Giga while the other one flys over to the snow biom, spots an Ovis and drags it over to the Giga. wait until the food drained enough VOILAA you got yourself a Giga (sometimes one Ovis ist not enough)

ON 2x a LVL 50 giga needed almost 400 narcotics to keep it down. Plus with ARC, not all hits register for torpor purposes so i used almost 420 tranq darts. Dododex said it would take 179. This giga was in a trap.

I spent 2 hours looking for a giga and when I tamed it the dumb thing fell in the water and go eaten.

U can just lead through a bunch of tripwires lol
