Put 3 small metal Dino gates with a large bear trap in the middle of it. Incomplete square. Lead it inside with a fast argy or Ptera when it's trapped close it off IMMEDIATELY and shoot trans at it from a far distance because they have a ridiculous bite range. Have at least 10ish crossbows and more than 600 trans arrows and more than 1k narcotics cuz their torpo goes down too quick. I always tame high lvl gigas and give them to lower level newbies. That 1.5 boost makes there new lvl 215 so yea they pretty much have op gigas now.

Grab a mate with a ptera or a argy. Just shoot it down to sleep. Be shure ur bird have enough stamina ^^

This calculator was way off, I had used 47 shock darts, 53 tranquilizers darts and over 150 tranquilizer arrows on a lvl 10

When you first find one, nothing else but pure fear at low level.

Only Use Primitive crossbows and tranqs as if you miss with darts its torpor will go up super fast

So in the recent events gigas have been downgraded way to much from 25k health-17k health just keep that in mind if you are new to the giga aspect of taming realize that low level gigas are terrible but are a must tame to get higher level gigas on the island since 2 are the max on island and 6 is max on center I'm talking about wild. Do not fight a wild giga even if it's level 5 and you have a l50 depends on your dmg health and saddle 200+ dmg is good but the saddle must be high tho or ur dead pretty much don't fight a giga plus you can lag out watch out

Giga traps are the best way to tame these! Use metal gate frames and a bear trap!

Whoever's tames a 150 giga with cooked fish meat whatever a tame boost on their server has some serious balls

If you plan to knock out a wild giga bring more Tranks than you think you'll need my tribe found a level 55 let's just say 800 trank arrows aren't anough to knock it out.

Try and get it to run into a wall, then stand on your quetzal's platform saddle and shoot it with tranqs. I tamed three this way. Either do this or trap it.

Trap Giga out by finding a ruin and then lead it into the ruin and then go through the little tunnel and get in mad and u and it should run towards the tunnel and when it's doing that you have a tribe mate go up behind it and place 5 or 4 stone Dino gates and then u can knock it out

I have tamed 3 Gigas in 3 days with this method.

To tame this dino, requires you to punch it. It will not be long after that. Enjoy!

Recommended shots on dododex only work if it's shot that many times in 10 seconds. Torpor steadily drops even while being shot. So additional shots are required.

Secondary generation gigas kill wild one easily with 400+400*30% attack.

Remember these are easier to tame then they are to kill. Trap it tranq it with your tribe and hunt the prime only take about 3 hours once it's down.. but to kill it.... good luck.... best bet run to water and swim and keep swimming being eaten by sharks is a better fate and you may have a drowning giga in pursuit
