How to kill a giga. Have a gun with a lot of bullets. Shoot in the head ( best way to kill it ). Use a bird to help you kill it or stand on a huge rock

When you feed it 100 narcotics it lasts 13:45 until the torpor starts to drop again. Like so others can see :)

Damn.. these are easy to tame but huge in size of a t-Rex sounds like a myth but it’s real... I tamed a level 5 with just 189 tranq arrows... I expected more... but then you need to bring like 300+ narco or.. your probably dead

If you spec for crafting and make an ascended longneck or crossbow you’ll end up using less tranqs over all in my test I wasted roughly 80 shocking tranqs and most hits weren’t headshots so if you or your tribe has the resources and a way to craft a high damage ascended crossbow or longneck then it would help tame one of these guys or any Dino that needs to be knocked out to tame as 3-4 shots to the head are enough to put down t Rex’s and gigas

The best way and the only way is to tame one is get your best gear from your 350 vaults and passive tame it with cooked fish meet this works almost all of the time

100% able to be knocked out by boomeangs! Just need a lot of them! also need at least 4 people throwing them at once to do decent torpor on them! Takes a long time too! With alot of deaths included!

When you use the amount of tranqs it says, it will not knock out immediately. It will take some time for the torpor to catch up and knock it out. Took about 10 mins after shooting the right amount of tranqs for it to lock out. If you notice it's trying to run go up to it and check with a magnifying glass.

When taming a Giga, the higher the level the better. No giga tame is "easy" so find the one with the largest Torpor bar and bring far more narcotic or biotoxen than you need. High levels will be far more useful when you get them a mate and begin your breeding operation.

Says it only needs 400 arrows but ive used 500 and 3 clubs and it's still not knocked out. Keep this in mind

Gigas in rag are Broken right now. we knocked down a 145 says 900+ narc. You will need bout 4000 :(

If a giga follows you place a metal gate he use it as a toothbrush its very useful if you would like to tame the giga

If taming alone or with another tribemate use a crossbow taming with 3 or more tribemates I recommend using tranq darts. You will waste a lot of darts if using darts on a solo tame their torpor almost goes down faster than the longneck can dish it out.
