I laugh at you people that waste your time using narcotics when this beast losses so much torpor, so fast that only the duration of the torpidity rising is what is going to stop the torpidity from falling. In short you could just use 3,000 narcoberries (probably all you need) and keep his torpor rising for 2 hours and don’t have to give a care for the Giga during that time. He looses like 100 torpor per second, so brewing the narcotics is only effective when the creature unconscious loses torpor slower than other Dinos and you need to bring up its torpor a crazy amount. Do what I do and use even just a parasaur to harvest a bunch of berrie. P.S. love parasaurs for life :)

Make a metal trap out of double doorways and a metal behemoth. Put 9 bear traps inside and 3plant x's just outside the back of the trap. lure her in with a tapejara. (They agro her to no end) be aware she can still almost escape this. Our level 140 took 80 tranq darts to the face from our journeyman long neck riffles. And the prime meat from 2 long necks. Be cautioned it spawned another giga in the same area immediately after we tamed her. We named her shiela.

18 metal Dino gates (not behemoth) 8 large bear traps. Create almost like a pear shape with Dino gates allowing 2 gates to block off end he will enter. Place 1 trap right in entrance than 3 further back than 4 about at end. Recommend having a tribe mate as well, than once placed carry mate with bird while he shoots giga. The giga will follow while killing everything in its path so I can take a few more minutes than expected cause he like to eat!!! Keep far enough away from ground to not allow mate to be eaten or yourself too, than lure him back to trap and once he steps on first trap in your gates drop your mate at end so giga will chase him farther into trap. Than wait for it to step on 2nd line of bear traps than run up while giga is stuck in trap and place last 2 Dino gates at end to block it off completely!! At that point i suggest jump on bird fly up a lil and breath for a minute because now the next task begins but mostly importantly congratulate yourself on the success!!

Get four stone gateway's then place them in a square then use stone ramp on one gateway you must be on lvl 62,anyway you'll need 150 tranqe darts and 3 long neck rifels,then lure the gigs into your trap.You'll need lvl 96

Dont try to do it from the back of your quetz it moves around too much. You have to trap it. Do 3 behemoth gates in a triangle and leave a little gap for you to run through as it chases you. Use a pressure plate if available to close the door behind him to trap him. Then you can tranq away while it bites at the doors.

just turn dino damage low and player damage up, its your only hope (and resistance)

Do not trust the amount of tranquilzer darts required to knock these dinos out on the calculator. You’ll need a lot more than stated! 355 for a lvl 115 apparently, shot 450 into it and it still wasn’t out cold.

Broskies i tamed a level 5 giga with raw meat and soothing balm which gives 45.9

But please don't take it it only gives 25.0 mele damage

Just get a pachy with 20000 melee damage and hit it 3 times with your charge

I would say 15000 narc is ok and many fridges of prime

Very easy to solo tame, you can use Stone gates If It was a lvl 55 below. Build a 1x1 Stone base to dont get surprised by nothing and never stop shooting.
