These SOBs next to always spawn on the mountain in the far right corner of the island (not the one in the snow biome) and once you find one make sure to trap it and not start shooting it like a maniac. I found a level 55 and tried taming it without trapping it and it despawned when I went back home for some metal Dino gateways. Also, they destroy stone Dino gateways so make about 8 metal Dino gateways (NOT behemoth gates they fit through behemoths) also should have 200 shock tranqs or more bc this thing has MASSIVE torpor and drops 200 every 3 seconds so keep shooting and have fun!

Stand on top of a cliff and shoot down at it... Or if you can... Have a tribemate and a quetzal and some sleeping bags or beds on the quetz then you guys can continuously follow it and chase it down... Good luck survivors!

when you tame a giga it nerfs the giga and makes it weaker than what it is in the wild

a 150 needs around 1000 tranqs with the best crossbow or 4 cannons to the head of the cannon deals more than 200 damage on 3 is needed

Tamed mine with no problem. Build a trap. Place honey in trap. Close trap and shoot darts at it...you need a ton of darts and longneck rifles but it can be done!

To kill grapple to its back so it can’t hit you and kill it with a sword.

Use a flying creature to tame. Any ground creatures WILL die. It looks big but is pretty fast. Best idea is to hide in a area that it cannot reach (like a cave) and tranq it or fly around. P.S idk why but it and a Reaper Queen can kill you in creative so watch out for that.

The best way to tame 1 of these weak butafale Dino’s is to make a 1 by 1 stone bemoth gate then pot a bear trap in the middle of the cage o and be sure there’s a big gigantic near bye then get a chain bola bola 1 of your freainds in the cage and then go get the giga and tell it diner is server and wall he’s eating your tribe mates head of close the gate behind it and wala you have a traped giga amdif he gets hungry again carry your tribe mate into the cage with an arge and then wall Hess feasting shoot shocking tranks on him from above safely perchton a qestul enjoy the tip remember yous a jorny man rifle

Dododex is completely inaccurate for the amount of shots it takes to take down a giga at least offline without single player settings ticked, used an asc crossbow that said it would take 117 shots... Yet it would not k.o until i was almost out of arrows from 300 and i always left a 1-2 second pause between shots to ensure I wasn't hitting it too fast or too slow.

You can save a lot of resources by just using 3metal gates and 1 stone,just make sure you’re hitting it away from the stone one ang when it tries to flee it hits the metal one

Use 4 Metal Dino Gates, place 3 of them in a incomplete square (don’t use snap points) and a giant bear trap in the middle. After knockin it out; only feed it like 1000 narcotics when Giga torpor at 25%-50%

If you knocked out a lvl300 with a wooden club and feed it cooked fish meat and narcoberries you’re a savage

If you need to kill one to get its heart easily, simply take a flyer with enough stamina and make the Giga chase you to a big body of water where the Giga can’t climb out(off a cliff) and then hit it a couple times until it’s head goes down, it should drown in a couple of mins, easy Giga heart.
