I found that the easiest way to tame one of these is with a griffin since you can basically shoot through the griffin and the turn radius helps a whole lot so just fly up and shoot away. Oh and try to have a high dmg crossbow. I had a 485 dmg asc one it takes about 30-40 arrows for a lvl 30 giga depending on your aim and the chase he gives you.

On mobile, you can use a Griffin to tame me of these because you can use weapons on the back of a griffin

Get a quetzal with a platform a friend and stand up their and shoot it

Ok when are going to knock out a gigs make a trap one large bear trap and 4 metal large gates and a gun to knock it out

If you have 2 high level gigas that are a breeding pair, breed them, they said. It'd be worth the hassle they said.

In all seriousness, you'd get a pretty powerful tamed giga.

Does anyone know how many darts it takes to knock one out? All of the KO methods are greyed out. I’m guessing that means a lot?

To tame them: Build a Trap of either metal or tek, knock em out feed him bio toxin so torpor goes up, Feed it prime, mutton, or kibble...you have your brand new dino that goes nuts if he gets burned....

Please don’t try taming this without a trap. It’s not a good idea.

Long story short, over 150 tranq arrows wasted and a journeyman crossbow broken on a level 5.

Trap them in a metal box or something to easily tame them

Giga can't damage metal tier or higher

The tame isn’t really hard, the hard part is to find one! Once that I found one near to the mountains my brother helped me by flying a Tapejara while I was shooting tranq arrows with a crossbow, it got stuck with some rocks and eventually I put it to sleep, now this demos is ours;)

Few hundred arrows and a butt ton of bio toxin and a 7 gate trap method

Make sure to space them

I severly underestimated these thing a lvl 22 shredded my lvl 109 argie then after and almost killed my lvl 116 rex while taking barely any damage

How to tame a Giga easy way:

1: All you need is 4 metal billboards, which work the same as Dino gates but way cheaper. Also need a lot of tranqs and narcotics, sleeping bag to get the Giga to 0 food (only works if u are on mobile) and a soothing balm if you’re on mobile. Also a high level Pteranodon

2: Find Giga and lure it to a flat area(Make sure you’re keeping the aggro of the Giga and don’t get hit too much. Recommended a good movement stat.)

3: Trap it when not aggroed. Stay on the Pteranodon or the Giga will aggro on you.

4: once trapped, sleep near it so it’s on 0 food. This glitch only works on mobile so if you’re on other devices, sleeping bag is not required. But I’d recommend using it in case the Giga kills you. After this, shoot it with tranqs until it goes down.

5: if on mobile, apply the soothing balm and let its torpor drop and then feed it a ton of narcotics. If on other devices, recommended bring 2-3 stacks of narcotics. Let its food drop for a little but keep an eye on its torpor. When food drops to a good amount, feed it prime meat or Quetzal kibble and it’s yours!

I was able to tame one at lvl 71 and lead him back to my base with no deaths. No saddle (yet) but I'm just here to prove us lvl 75 and lower players can do it, although my friend helped me since the games were having a seizure. -glitchboo

Only a real man would tame a 9999 giga with cooked fish meat

Basically what you need to tame on is first see one then run in terror , then prepare, Kibbles is must ,next thing they like are you narcotics so stock up , make some metal gateway, then ammo of your choice, keep it like there is no tomorrow.

Now make the trap a rectangular cage [__] like so place some large bear traps ( i placed 5 but 2 will work) . Lure it in with a fast mount like a gally or raptor. I used griffin

And when stuck in the bear trap put the last side of rectangle. And then let it try to escape. If done right it won't but if it did RUN!

When trapped , make a lot of distance or shoot at its butts. This will chomp in the island and kill you in the aberrations . They earn there reputation as almost a boss like creatures . After knocked out put you kibbles and narcotics, keep an eye on it, its torpor will go down rapidly so take that into account.

If you do it all correctly, you will have a monster which eats rexes and spinos for breakfast and craps therizinosaurus. But NEVER fight a wild one with a tamed one .people tried , there giga died

I almost lost my level 220 pteranodon (on medium) 2 times when taming 2 Gigas (she ended up eating all the prime meat)

YAY i tamed a giga!!! lvl 100!!! used 15x balm + raw prime meat 18000 hp and 30% meele

The best ammo for taming a giga in my opinion is show trank darts with a long neck rifle.

If you want to tame this Guy Follow These Steps

1) Find this Guy on Mountains (Commonly on Giga Mountain In Ice lands)

2) Come with your Argi, Giga don't attack argies unless you attack them

3) Bring 6-8 Metal gates and 100+ Narcotics/Bio Toxins

4)Trap the Giga With metal gates (Don't Dismount From your Argi Or You Die)

5)Wait For Night And Take A nap Near Giga

6) When you wake up Just Hit With Darts ( Giga have huge Torper Rate So Bring Enough Darts)

7)Food Level will zero so you can tame instant

8) Enjoy your Beast
