It is not that worth it to tame will edtion will kill everybody and everything but when you tame it it is not that good also do not take it to a war if he gets decently damaged he’s eyes will start burning AND KILL EVERYTHING INCLUDING YOU

There a extremely good traps from Rex giga etc from a YouTuber called fatdog search him up I can tame a Rex with only 14 pillars now

A little off topic but don’t you think you should be able to change the tether distance on ps4 and Xbox so 1 person can tame a giga while the other makes a trillion trank darts

I’ve now tamed two of these on my griffin, just hover above it slightly out of its range, with the griffins head pointed towards the ground, and shoot from the griffins back. The little dude will just sit underneath you and let you porcupine him with darts/arrows. Proud parent of two high level gigs and their child now

Go for high levels when taming a giga it has more health wild

A quick solo strat for taming: put three reenforced dinosaur gateways in a circle, and set a giant bear trap in the middle. Then lure the Giga into the bear trap and close it in with another dinosaur gate. It shouldn’t be able to do any damage to the gates. Then simply knock it out with tranq arrows and tame it! Recommend doing this after level 75. Credit goes to Ssundee for this idea.

On ark UME, I turned up player damage to about 10.0, and I was able to knock a giga out in less than fifteen shots from my bow. Didn’t even need a trap😭

When he ran away, I just chased him and shot him a couple more times. Boom. Knocked giga.

When taming one on ragnorock if you are taming one be the green tower than then I recommend climbing on to the top of the water fall than and keep him in the river then shoot

According to this app, it would take 2079 tranq darts shot by a primitive longneck rifle every 5 seconds to knock out a level 750. To put it simply, do not try to knock out a level 750 Gigantosaurus.

Get a wyvern , go above the giga, stop riding the wyvern because it doesn't kick you off you just sit in the saddle, lean over the edge of the wyvern and shoot until the giga gets knocked out.

I would recommend an hp/stamina tanked tapejara because two people can ride it at the same time and you can also shoot from its back.

The scorpion and frog will definitely die way before you knock out the giga unless they got crazy hp or you get an army of them

These creatures will kick your ass. Don’t engage unless you have a clear death wish.

The amount of darts needed to bring one down is too low, at least if you are bringing one down solo. I pumped 600 tranq darts into a lvl 154 a's fast as 5 long neck rifles would allow. Didn't go down. What a waste of time.
