So I tamed one and named it godzilla, raided a couple of bases went home accidentally shot it and for some reason it attacked me and destroyed my entire base and killed 90% of my dinos, I kill every giga I see now

King of the Mountain

Part 1

Diablo was king for a reason. Not just because Mei-yin Li had named his father the Demon King, but because he lived up to that name. All other creature would flee in terror upon sight of him coming down the mountain, and any who fought back would end up as an appetizer, even the mighty Titanosaur would fall to his strength. All was good, he ruled over the island from the peak of the volcano, keeping the Tek Cave safe, and overall just having a peaceful life. Now, of course, he still needed other enforcement over the parts of the island he couldn’t be in, so he commanded the rexes for the grasslands, thylacoleo in the redwoods, yutyrannus in the Arctic, and spinosaurus over the swamp. The Argentavis would send orders to them, and they would enforce his will. But one day, an Argy came back with a report that changed the history of the island, forever.

I don't want to tame it it just spawn at my at my face not one but TWO good thing I'm on the bird BUT when I really want to tame it it just go bye bye never be seen again

Well I’ve had a rough week in ark ngl it has sucked I just lost a level 204 mutation on a giga due to starvation and my trough had meat in it and yes I claimed the thing ugh and then I tamed a carcha btw I would def recommend and then I’m on switch so we all know wild card isn’t gonna fix any bugs or issues until asa oh wait switch doesn’t get that my b anyway so I get back to base and my character is glitched and I lose my whole kit save to say I was miffed all my phenomenal loot gone so happy hunting up means you feel me cause I’m ready for a change in my 1000 hours of this game worst week ever good luck happy hunting stay on the grind my friends

Fun times

So me and my friend were out taming an Argy for him since his last one was suicidal and flew straight into a pack of angry Dinopithecus. Anyway, we were in the middle of taming two because he found another one with cooler colors that we could breed. We also spent an ungodly amount of time trying to tame a Hyaenadon but that’s besides the point. I thought the biggest danger in this place was the Rexes that occasionally showed up and that we just lured off of some nearby cliffs, boy was I wrong. We were minding our business, watching a Rex mess around with some nearby Argys, when out of nowhere, BOOM, level 20 Giga spawns right next to me, and my Argy, who is also apparently suicidal, goes to fight it, however this did give me enough time to escape and have my friend get me to safety with his newly tamed Argy. Now, being the smart folk that we were, we figured we can tame it. We unloaded a crapload of tranq arrows into it with little effect, and it decided to break physics and climb up some basically unclimbable rocks and one-shot me through the ground. My friend had already placed a bed there beforehand thanks to an unfortunate encounter with a lvl 45 Sabertooth. I respawned to grab my stuff, and realized I was out of tranq arrows, but my friend kept going and going, still with no visible effect. But then, he started running. I don’t remember if he came back or stayed over where he ran off too, the next bits are a little hazy. Somehow, from the place he was shooting it, my friend managed to fall off and kill himself. He respawned and fell and died again. Finally he got his stuff, and while the Giga was roaming around we tamed some new Argys and got the hell out of there, vowing that we would be back, that we would conquer the Giganotosaurus! However that might be a while, we need to get a lot stronger if we plan to tame that Giga. In the meantime we found a Quetzal that we’re gonna try to tame so wish us luck with that.

I can’t stop myself from laughing at how unlucky Gunner is, he’s like me lol.

Me, Being the stupid idiot I am, decided to move my giga from its nice little ice Berge spot to my new base ( our old base kept getting raided) AND it fell into THE WATER. I tried taking it out, but it's stamina FELL AND DROWNED. (Rip Indominus, level 345) GOOD NEWS, THE SERVER RESETED AND I GOT HIM BACK😁😁😁

My ultimate revenge...

Alpha Rex, with 24k HP, you nearly took my albino rex with acedant saddle away, leaving you at 15k hp, barely escaped with my own life...

But now?

My lvl 15 Giga took your skull out of your head. You stood no chance while the rage grew my Gigas DMG and stamina bulked for every hit. I was left with 9/17k hp.

I got my first giga a while back, her names Estelle,now it time to get her a boyfriend,oh dear, time for another 127 days of grinding

Today, me and my tribemates tamed a giga on official small tribes. It was a giga for me, and she is a beautiful red color. We knocked it out by punching it, thereby securing our position as alpha of the server. After the tame, we set our sights on another female giga. We got a little cocky, and what happened next... oh, the horrors!

Well, something went wrong. We don’t know what for sure, but what we do know is that our one and only ice wyvern was slain brutally. As was one of our argys and one of our pts. It was a sad day, and after 4 failed attempts to trap this giga, we abandoned ship.

RIP Babycakes the Wyvern. You will be missed.

My giga is having 85% melee what should I do now

Got my first lvl 135 male yessir in the desert on rag the thing is a freaking monster it’s a must happy hunting good luck to everyone stay in the grind !!!

I remember I wanted to find one of these guys and I did. It was at a beach right close to the mountains, which isn’t really where it is found usually but I was too joyful. to really care at the time I wasn’t a high enough level in the game, so that’s why I couldn’t tame it and so I just took a picture of it and because I couldn’t tame it I just let it kill me

So me and my friend attempted to tame one of these monsters using the square gateway tactic. It does not work. After it had escaped, we used ≈30 bazooka shots and around 450 advanced rifle bullets on it and nothing. Not even a scratch. After it killed our Argys, aka our only way to escape, we found it was a level 4. A level 4. Don’t fight these guys unless you have some heavy duty stuff.

My friend thought it would be funny to mess with one I lost a friend that day.

me and my friend went on a server i grinded on for at least a couple months straight i was the best player in the server for a while when my friend joined me and gotten level 50 he said he was gonna go look for a rex and i said ok and when he said he found one i said bring it here and i would knock it out and when he brought it here i saw that it was a giga and i realised i didnt have enough tranq darts for a giga so what i did was i shot a tranq arrow at my friend and grabbed all my dinos and put the into my raft base and let my friend get eaten by the giga

THERE IS NO WAY IM LOSING ALL THAT PROGRESS! and also the giga was maxed level and i only have a level 40 giga and it is weak as heck

Me and my dad play ark and we’re really competitive. We both work to get new Dino’s that the other doesn’t have. He has a tuso and velon on his world(ragnarok) I got a bloodstalker, magmasaur, maewing, and I’m planing to get a giga. My dad said if I got a giga he would try to get one as well, but he tried getting one and he each time he went to the giga. He also didn’t know if the giga can’t hit you , it’ll run. Then my dad thought he almost knocked it out lol. He and his argy had a 1 tap death from a lvl 4 giga
