To be honest I'm to terrified to ride mine I'm scared he'll be damaged and kill me

The story of greed and betryal.

So I was chilling one day in a PvX server. Good base, decent loot. I went offline and thats when my life changed.

I logged back on to notice a massive metal base next to mine. Being a curious person, i tried getting in. I climbed a hill and leaped down, used a parachute, and landed in. Three gigas stood there. This guy was there. Whilst exploring the base the dude states he was AFK and i go up to him and start punching him. I do no damage since its PvX so I was just doing it for fun. I turn around and a Giga lay an egg. I was a fairly new player and didnt know how rare Giga's were, so I picked it up. I made a small hatching area in my base and it started to incubate. I was super excited as it would be my first tame. I rushed back to the metal base as I hadnt completed my tour of it. Then i noticed 6 more eggs incubating in a small room with a hatch on the top.

I got inside easily but I couldnt get back out. I died multiple times. Then the server crashed. It wasnt back online for a good amount of time, and i had dropped the eggs from the fires.

I came back online and noticed every single egg had died. Greed had made me not thankful for the one egg I had. I decided it wasnt a big deal and began to gather materials. Then the server crashed, and it never came back online. Betrayel.

Lesson: be thankful for what you have as greed will destroy the human race.

The Catch

A giga found my base I used my griffs to lure him out and he almost finished 4 of em but I took him to the redwoods where my tribemate was waiting with a batista and finished him off with turrets

Don’t waste your time on a giga carchadontasauruses are way better sore for the spelling charchars and e Easyer to tame and don’t rage

I spawned first time on ragnarark on switch (it just came out February 7th) and I spawned on a 140 Giga but transferred are closed and I was lvl 1 so it de spawned I was disappointed in the Giga but I have 2babies my friend gave me 1 egg I just wanted 1 now I have 2 help me!

Battle at big Rock

So once I was playing a dinosaur battle with my friends but they didn't know I had a giganotosaurus but they were using raptors diplophsaurus and so was to till I got my giganotosaurus to come and kill there raptors and diplophsuarus and them a long with them a dinosaur battle is where you and your friends make dinosaurs fight each other but any ways I won so the end

I was flying over to a mountain for metal when I landed with my argy as I got off the bird, a giga started biting me from behind, I was on half held when he finished me off as I respawned I got a message saying -Level 80 Argy was killed by a Rex- rip bob and my stuff

A 315 had killed my pt named blood born she was the best she had killed a lvl 30 giga before and a total of six Titanos but now she is gone rip🫡

just got an ascendant giga saddle from a christmas present, now im looking to tame one, wish me luck...

I just tamed my first Giga at first there was a glitch that when I look at his level it says level 10 I was okay with that because he is my first Giga but after I knocked it out his level became a level 115 ! it took me 90 tranq form a accented longneck with 1300 damage (109 with tranq) i was confused at first and though it was a lot just to a level 10 but when I saw his true level I was shocked and sooo happy

Once when looking for a good area for building on fjordur and got killed by one of these.

I respawned then it killed me.

It continued spawn killing me for another twenty times.

There was a man on the island. Once, he was a paleontologist, a man fascinated by the past. Now, he only wished that the past wasn’t fascinated with him, particularly his organs. He had heard rumors of a giant predator, larger than a T Rex, but still more meaty than a Spino. That shouldn’t be possible. The scientist could only think of one dinosaur that could fit that description, but even in his time there was much debate on it. One day, he decided he’d find this giant lizard. He mounted his trusted argentavis and headed towards the mountain where this dinosaur was said to live. He suspected the beast would be a giganotosaurus, but even then they shouldn’t be that much larger than a T. rex, or at least not as tough. once he landed on a safe rock on the mountain he realized that his own argentavis shouldn’t be able to be ridden on, shouldn’t be able to carry him, real ones weren’t even this large. Then he looked around and saw the giga. It looked large, but as it came closer he realized it was even bigger, twice the size of any T. rex! He got back on his argentavis and grabbed the reins to the saddle, but just as it took off the man felt a massive maw tear his lower legs off, as well as the argentavis’. The two tumbled towards the ground, the argent immediately dying upon hitting its head on a jagged boulder, the man surviving by landing on the argent’s body. He squirmed his way a few inches before a foot three times larger than himself crushed both him and his argent.

I just about tamed one like 90% but then it wakes up with half torpor and i have to do it all again! So freaking annoying

I made the mistake that all new ark players do I thought this was a weird Rex so when I was a little bit set up with a base I got my trusty Equus (brownie) and had a lot of Tranq arrows (well what I thought was enough) and I went to the spot I saw it last and sure enough it was still there I got the high ground (well what I thought was the high ground) I started to shoot it then vary quickly I learned what a giga was

Eu tava jogando no norte do the island e praticamente desde sempre eu via um giga nivel 1 (o que pra mim considerando o tamanho do bicho já era bem perigoso) em uma montanha e planejava mais tarde quando mais avançada domá-lo até que ele começou a ir saindo da montanha então eu decidi domá-lo logo já que ele poderia chegar na minha casa e fiquei literalmente dias preparando TUDO pra domá-lo (fiz a ração preparei flecha, narcóticos, trap, levei três bestas e umas 105 flecha pra garantir já que era a minha primeira vez domando um giga e usando trap) e fui com a minha argentavis e depois de 8 tentativas frustadas (se não me engano 5 a argentavis morreu, 2 ele não entrou na trap e ficou em um lugar que não dava mais pra colocar ele na trap, 1 eu esqueci de levar mais de uma besta) eu consegui (toda vez que dava errado eu fazia meio que um truque pra voltar no tempo e poder tentar denovo, pode achar que é frescura mas não tenho tanta esperiencia com isso e não ia aguentar ver minha argentavis ou eu morrer) até que eu consegui e uma coisa aqui falava que precisava de 4 rações, 64 flechas(com a besta) e cento e não sei quantos narcóticos, precisou de 2 rações, um bom tanto mais que 64 flechas, e mais ou menos uns 30,40 narcóticos mas no final eu somei e fiquei muito feliz (aí depois de levar ele pra casa o controle descarregou e eu fui escrever isso enquanto a pilha carrega)

I just got a giga and I named it Delta he was being hit by those freaks but I saved him and I became friends with him and ill keep him as a pet and friend and try to protect him

These things are unkill able broke my house and ate my friends and animals

I remember I was taming a Giga then I went away to get the meat for it and it was awake and then started shooting it then a level 380 Rex came up and got one shot by the Giga and when shooting my spine almost got two shot it did 40 thousand damage but I now have a level 1000 Giga and Spinosaurus

The picture of the giga is me when they say kids don’t get summer anymore as a teen I think that’s horrible I mean kids need a break from time to time
