Me and my friends where going on a spino hunt I was riding my raptor rebel Tanah was riding her position wyvern toxicity and sienna was riding her unicorn Maggie she's such a show off with her unicorn and pheonix but we saw a allo so we went to get the prime meat the thing was all black so it looked like a allo from far away as Tanah got closer she screamed for me to get off rebel so I did she picked me up with her wyvern me her and ourtames got out of there I didn't know why. we were looking for sienna and Maggie but we saw them running away from the allo I said to Tanah that sienna never runs away from allo so I went up to it and it killed me I went back with my rex porkchop and sienna was running away and went back to my base in the red woods I wondered why she would go to my base she hates the red woods then I realised my base is stone and gigas can break stone so I just got my rex army and killed the giga losing porkchop saddly he will be missed I spent the last 2 hours bringing gigas back to Sienna's base because she wanted to take my microraptor pack and my nogglin

Once I found a giga with my tribemate in the highlands. We were planning to grapple onto its back and shoot it, so we gathered the supplies. We then flew over the giga, and I dropped myself with a parachute to grapple onto the giga and knock it out. Sadly, I missed the shot, and got eaten. I then tried to get my stuff back by taking my items and running into a nearby cave. What we did not realize yet was that the cave was big enough for the giga to go through, and I lost my life. Lesson: don't try and repeat stuff from reddit

So, I found a lvl 150 giga on my map and I grabbed my Griffin flew over there went on a hill without trapping it, I’m such an idiot, “IT CLIMBED UP THE MOUNTAIN” My brother said as he was watching me, then I died, R.I.P Ghostlike, my lvl 200+ Griffin, and me, Damien, lvl 105 killed by a giganotosaurus lvl 150, I finally tamed it after looking up a trap for it and that was on my fifth attempt, oh those other attempts were all me and a Griffin all the griffins died, psst don’t tell my brother but his Griffin was one of those, after I got it tamed and I slapped a saddle on I was super happy, but…. Then I realized it was a piece of garbage, I HAD TO FIND ANOTHER ONE OF THESE JUST TO IMPRINT ON IT UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, WHY COULDNT GIGAS BE BETTER! Anyways that was my experience of taming a giga,

I was on a meat run near my base in the redwoods, then I saw it. A 105 wild giga, chillin’ right next to our base. Quickly, I got on my argy and whistled neutral, then flew into the air, and waited. The giga went up to the spikes, then realized it could walk over them, and started slaughtering everything. Every creature we’d tamed was dead. I then left to the arctic, farmed up some toxicant arrows, then went back to the abandoned base. The smithy was still there, so I built a giga trap, then lured the giga in. I started tranqing it, until eventually, it was out. I tamed it up, and it is now one of our 2 living creatures. R.I.P. to the 9 creatures we lost that day, including our 3 bears and level 600 arthro.

To the person with questions about getting their giga back. If you are willing to get rid of the items in the giga’s inv, and if ur on mobile cuz idk if this works on pc, u can just go to the tab where you can see your stats and click on your tames number. It should show a list of all your tames and you can tap on the giga and it will give you two choices. Choose the one that says request and your giga will spawn in a few seconds.

I just wanna ask but I tamed a level 230 giga a few days ago in my hardcore ark world and for some reason my giga that I tamed vanished while I was in a cave I tried searching for it but it was gone but I was also still alive.Can anyone tell me how to get him back it would really help.

It was my first trip out of the sanctuary(the bit In the middle) in extinction. 2 minutes after leaving it i saw a corrupted giga. 2 Mins later I saw another. A couple minutes later and I landed to get some stam and I died to a level 145. The third giga in under 10 mins

So I’m my ragnorok world I lived near the blue obilesk and at the blue Obelisk there was a titano and legit like 7 gigas. And I had two level 89 gigas and the wild ones were like lvl 150 and I was scared and so was my friend. But when he was offline I tamed them and it was difficult. Did you know you could spawn a certain level giga? Just to admincheat gmsummon “gigant_character_bp_c” 100 and it’ll like add 50 extra levels

One time I just saw a low level Rex get killed by a mammoth in the tundra and I thought I saw another Rex that looked like it was on steroids so I walked up it turned around and with one bite I was dead luckily I didn’t have any pets with me after I realized it was a giga I wasn’t even mad just surprised.

T-Rex was 12 metres/40 feet, while the giga’s size is not confirmed, just estimated. The estimates range from 12 to 13 metres, so they are roughly the same size. Neither of them are as big as spinosaurus though, spinosaurus is estimated to be 15-17 metres, so pretty big. I was just guessing with the information I’ve got. It is a fight that is impossible and never happened. I guess you are right lava.

Hate to burst your bubble but if a Rex fought a giga irl it’s not necessarily 80% chance that is wrong but more of a 60-40 the 60 goes to Rex cause event though the Rex has a powerful bite they both are near the same amount of power

Make sure you are 100% prepared to raise one of these, they take ages to grow and eat an absolute Ton of food. I was raising one in multiplayer and I had to stay up all night with it until it reached 10% growth so it could eat from the trough. But even after it did and I went to sleep, it died because it ate the entire trough of food! Don’t make the same mistakes as I did lol.

I had one named Bruce he was lvl 3 I just tamed him I was going to my base when I see a titan and I accidentally hit its massive tail and of course my giga died I closed the game and his corpse was not there i thought he was alive but he was not I did not even get his heart

Was preparing to tame our first giga on a server and someone gave us three 400+ Gigas for free. Me and my tribemate took them out and killed everything we saw

Hey there, I m a new player playing solo on easy (Ark:Mobile).. (Currently at level 68). I made my base at The Hidden Lake.. And there's a level 50 giga to the closest Mountain on my base (i think next to snow mountain).. And as days pass by.. its hunting down everything and getting closer to my base. I have to prepare to either kill it or tame it. I have prepared about 2k narcotics and 400 tranq arrows. Will it work for taming?

Started a base in the Highlands and saw not one but TWO Giga's in the Highlands one being a level 12 and the other 57. I spent two days preparing and they vanished.
