If you’re going to tame one of these, trap it with metal gates and a bear trap and only use tranq arrows! Tranq darts are much slower and if you’re reloading your rifle and the game lags, you will lose all your progress and it’s torpor may drop to 0!

Dont tame a low level, its too much work for a giga that gets wrecked by a dire bear

I found that the easiest way to tame one of these is with a griffin since you can basically shoot through the griffin and the turn radius helps a whole lot so just fly up and shoot away. Oh and try to have a high dmg crossbow. I had a 485 dmg asc one it takes about 30-40 arrows for a lvl 30 giga depending on your aim and the chase he gives you.

If u encouter a giga with a griffin and its a level 450 get loads of trank darts and shjot make sure u have a ten times balm

On mobile, you can use a Griffin to tame me of these because you can use weapons on the back of a griffin

Ok when are going to knock out a gigs make a trap one large bear trap and 4 metal large gates and a gun to knock it out

GIGAS NOW NOW like there hp is 80,000 them u tame its 17,000/18,000 and if u fall like 4-5 feet off the ground his eyes will turn red witch means he will kill u or kill other animals

Kill or tame by trapping with 1 large bear trap and 4 metal dino gateways.

If you have 2 high level gigas that are a breeding pair, breed them, they said. It'd be worth the hassle they said.

In all seriousness, you'd get a pretty powerful tamed giga.

Normally imprinting gives up to 20% boost to (some) base stats but with the giga it increases health up to ~90%. Bump your giga from 18k to 34k health with love!

If you encounter this creature in the wild make sure you have a powerful Wyvern on your side then you can just fly circles around it and spit fireballs.

How to tame a Giga easy way:

1: All you need is 4 metal billboards, which work the same as Dino gates but way cheaper. Also need a lot of tranqs and narcotics, sleeping bag to get the Giga to 0 food (only works if u are on mobile) and a soothing balm if you’re on mobile. Also a high level Pteranodon

2: Find Giga and lure it to a flat area(Make sure you’re keeping the aggro of the Giga and don’t get hit too much. Recommended a good movement stat.)

3: Trap it when not aggroed. Stay on the Pteranodon or the Giga will aggro on you.

4: once trapped, sleep near it so it’s on 0 food. This glitch only works on mobile so if you’re on other devices, sleeping bag is not required. But I’d recommend using it in case the Giga kills you. After this, shoot it with tranqs until it goes down.

5: if on mobile, apply the soothing balm and let its torpor drop and then feed it a ton of narcotics. If on other devices, recommended bring 2-3 stacks of narcotics. Let its food drop for a little but keep an eye on its torpor. When food drops to a good amount, feed it prime meat or Quetzal kibble and it’s yours!

Can anyone help me I swear everything I try to find a giga using the quest it's never where it say I think it's always the map this has happened on multiple occasions and it gets very annoying
