When I was trying find a oviraptor on my quetz, I saw a level 80 giga, and thought I could bite it and run away to see how fast it could run and what animations it had, then I realized that I could attack it from above without it attacking back. I just had to watch out for my stamina and find a safe spot to rest. I managed to kill it though. Was almost risk free of death.

Keep in mind gigas will turn on you if they get low health. Don’t mass upgrade them at once or you risk you whole base. Hope this helps.
