He'd definitely agro on everything, until he'd recover, but everything wild only

Are you looking for a strong mount? Cool if you wanna tame a Giga just follow these simple steps and follow the requirements so you can have a Giga!

Lets start packing!

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE TAME AND FOR YOUR OWN SAFTEY

-Ascendant/Journeyman Long-neck Rifle (Has to have good Durability not damage bcuz it might kill the Giga.)

-x3-x6 Quetz Kibble (You can buy a cheif station on mobile and get quetz kibble or search the recipie in YT.)

-Shocking Tranq Darts/Normal Tranq Darts

-Giganotasaurus Saddle (The Saddle for the Giga is only unlocked when your Lvl 98.)

-Ascendant Flak armor would be appreacieated since Gigas have a Gnash Effect-(Bleed Effect.)

-Good Stat Mount (Keep them safe from any saboor or direwolf or any dangourous carnivores and make sure that the stats are good with good HP, Stam, and speed.)

-Trap (If you want it the hard way then just tame it with out a trap or place three behomoth gate ways and trap the Giga or do the normal trap. ⚠️NOTE⚠️: This is very risky with out a trap or taming it with tatch tier wood tier and stone tier it will break all of those but not metal so trust me use metal!)

-3-4 Stacks of Bio or 5-7 Stacks of Narcotics.

Alrighty! Lets get started on taming this Land Mosa!

-Step 1: Find a Giganotasaurus (Gigas can be found on Mountains and the Snowy Mountains too.)

-Step 2: Build your trap and lure the Giga in! (Make sure its Metal Tier and has a Large bear Trap.)

-Step 3: Put your mount somewhere safe and put it on neutral and Tranq your Giga! (Gigas have 80k-100k Torpor so be prepared.)

-Step 4: Once your Giga is KO"d feed it Meat or Quetzal Kibble and put your Bio-Toxin Or Narcotics.

-Step 5: Just keep clearing the area while taming the Giga.

Yeay!!!! You have tamed the 3rd Apex Predator of the Island! 🦖🦖🏇🥳🥳

Now lets showcase the Gigas Abilities and Disablities!

ABILITY 1- Giganotosauruses have a Gnash Effect A.K.A Bleed effect which drops enemies creatures HP up to 30%! So when a Giga does that and when you still avoided it youll still be lossing HP.

ABILITY 2- These creatures are not very behaved they are likely to kill everything even theyre rider when they fall into a very deep slope this ability is called Rage Mode.

Now for the Dissablities!

DISSABILITES

DISSABLITY 1- The Giga Saddle can be only unlovked on lvl 98 so if you tamed a giga while still lvl 87 or 71 ya"ll still need the Saddle to ride it but luckily when your at Mobile and you have lots of amber saved you can buy an Tannery and just get enough thingys in the Tannery to buy a Journeyman Giga Saddle!

Help me with tameing the gigs I got knocked out right now it need help!

This is my experience when I encountered a giga so me and my friend were traveling on Oreo (my argy) when all of a sudden a giga spawned out of nowhere and killed Oreo so me and my friend were on the ground so we had three choices 1. Commit suicide to the giga 2. Make a run for it 3. Wait till it despawned but my friend sacrificed himself for me so that way I can get Oreos implant and run to base and that’s it

To be completely honest. It was super easy. Easier then i thought. Don't get off your flyer when the giga is not moving and not attacking anything just start surrounding it with metal dinosaur gateways and make sure it don't come out. Start tranqing it and after that just give it a 10x smoothing balm or sengiuene potion. Give it quetz kibbles 10 or more based on the lvl and just to be sure alot of narcos

To those that wanna find this demon you’d better go to the mountains. The volcano, fars peak, whitesky peak or any other high peaks out there. They are as rare as a Quetzal probably according to the wiki. If you wanna see one mount a high level Pteranodon with a good enough saddle and high health(mine was a lvl 140+ when my cousin dared me to shoot him in the head). You’d better use a spyglass or risk falling without a parachute into the giga’s mouth. If it notices you don’t go straight to your base it’ll massacre it and all your tames. You’d better lead it to the gulch of lamentation or a place full of other carnivores to distract it then safely get back to your base.

To everyone who wants to tame a Giga and wants to use a Trap. The best one is the one where you use 14 Meta Pillars.(I can speak of experience it Always works) Of course you can use the Metal Gate Trap as well. But for the one with the Metal Pillars you need less Ressources and it is easier and faster to build. Also remember that the floor must be quite flat for this trap, otherwise the Giga can run over the metal pillars.If you keep this in mind, it is easy to tame a giga. If you need help building the trap, you should watch the Giga Trap video by Captain Fatdog. It helped me a lot.

Start by crafting 4 Metal Dinosaur Gateways and Large Bear Trap. Place 3 Metal Dinosaur Gateways in an open square formation, but don't connect them, leave small spaces in the corners. Place a large bear trap in the center, and lure the Giga into it. You'll have seven seconds to run around and place the fourth Dinosaur Gateway. Now the Giga is pinned in the square, use whatever method of applying torpor you like, but I highly recommend using your best Crossbow, arrows are cheaper and a better investment than darts.

If you're doing it solo. Make sure to bring everything you need before start knocking it out. If your base are a bit far away, you won't have time to travel back and forth. Giga can wake up very fast. If you don't have good Longneck rifle. Just craft a lot of crossbow with twice the number of tranq arrow as suggest by Dodorex(just in case), and have double the narcotic. If you're not using all of it, you can use it later anyway so nothing is waste. Go for lvl150 Giga and tame with kibble, low level giga is a waste of times and taming with prime meat is a pain, do the perfect tame(search it up). I tamed lvl150 on official pve.

You HAVE to trap these things, it is not negotiable, you don’t trap it you will find yourself killed, I would recommend having 3 metal dinosaur gates, and a large bear trap place 2 in a sort of triangle position /\ then place the bear trap in between them, lure the Giga into the bear trap and run to the back of the trap and place a gate down behind it, then it is stuck, make sure to bring around 250 tranq darts if it’s a high lvl, don’t come unprepared or the Giga will regen all its torpor, also make sure it is stuck in the trap, don’t instantly get off your mount or it will most likely Aggro on you and that’s a terrifying experience where your heart rate accelerates 200, also keep your distance, their bite range is crazy, and that’s about every tip I have for Giga taming, also, only pump points into melee.

I saw one on the mountain. I was not sure if its rex because i did not have my binoculars. I thought okay lets go kill it with my rex killing machine . 54lv. And then boom. Im dead in 1minute:). I regret taking my only rex of that high level to kill this mf

Since someone else said how to tame a giga, I will try to give another option if you don’t have some of those things and how you can get them :)

1. Get any flier (choose one with quite a bit of health, speed, and stamina)

2. Get your taming gear including 4 metal gateways, and a bear trap (maybe a spare just in case)

3. Find the giga you want and fly away a bit till you find a flat spot to lay your trap

4. Make a square with one side open (you should of only used 3 gateways), and put a bear trap right in the middle

5. Lure your giga in (this might take a while since it’s a small trap, so that’s why you need good stamina)

6. As soon as it’s in the trap, dismount your creature and run behind the giga to the open side of the square

7. Quickly place the last metal gateway so it seals off the giga from escaping (you will probably take quite a bit of damage so bring good armor)

8. Get far away and shoot your ammo at it till it hits the floor!

9. I would recommend using a 10x soothing balm (you can get this easily by tributing the artifact of the hunter (easy to get with a good gun and if you go around smartly, but please remember you don’t always get a soothing balm, so it may take 2 or 3 tries)

10. Feed it prime meat (it saves you lots of time)

11. Make sure it’s safe and make sure it stays asleep

12. Enjoy your giga!

Many peeps say stats are crap. That I will agree, but I'm here to talk about stamina.

Gigas don't move much faster when walking, just add lvls on DMG.

HOWEVER, save stamina for biting. Not sprinting.

If you're on ragnarok and you find the giga that spawns in the highland, all you need is 6-8 metal dinosaur gates. Just lure him or her into the trench that runs across the center of the highlands north and south. You can create enough space while trapping by just blocking off the river and using the cliff walls to your advantage. Then you can sit above him on the cliff wall and torper him.

I just got a giga a couple of hours ago! I used crossbows with tranquilizer arrows to knock it out. I put it in a trap made out of metal. I used a 4x4 with door frames all around three walls high. I got the giga in the trap, then I started shooting it with tranquilizer arrows. It took around 150 tranquilizer arrows (it was a level 9) and took about 100 narcotics (I used a major soothing balm on it). I got it home and I am currently running around with it destroying everything.

I knocked out A GIGA with horses

I had to tame 100 of them

86 electric prod for level one. Just so you know
