Are you looking for a strong mount? Cool if you wanna tame a Giga just follow these simple steps and follow the requirements so you can have a Giga!
Lets start packing!
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE TAME AND FOR YOUR OWN SAFTEY
-Ascendant/Journeyman Long-neck Rifle (Has to have good Durability not damage bcuz it might kill the Giga.)
-x3-x6 Quetz Kibble (You can buy a cheif station on mobile and get quetz kibble or search the recipie in YT.)
-Shocking Tranq Darts/Normal Tranq Darts
-Giganotasaurus Saddle (The Saddle for the Giga is only unlocked when your Lvl 98.)
-Ascendant Flak armor would be appreacieated since Gigas have a Gnash Effect-(Bleed Effect.)
-Good Stat Mount (Keep them safe from any saboor or direwolf or any dangourous carnivores and make sure that the stats are good with good HP, Stam, and speed.)
-Trap (If you want it the hard way then just tame it with out a trap or place three behomoth gate ways and trap the Giga or do the normal trap. β οΈNOTEβ οΈ: This is very risky with out a trap or taming it with tatch tier wood tier and stone tier it will break all of those but not metal so trust me use metal!)
-3-4 Stacks of Bio or 5-7 Stacks of Narcotics.
Alrighty! Lets get started on taming this Land Mosa!
-Step 1: Find a Giganotasaurus (Gigas can be found on Mountains and the Snowy Mountains too.)
-Step 2: Build your trap and lure the Giga in! (Make sure its Metal Tier and has a Large bear Trap.)
-Step 3: Put your mount somewhere safe and put it on neutral and Tranq your Giga! (Gigas have 80k-100k Torpor so be prepared.)
-Step 4: Once your Giga is KO"d feed it Meat or Quetzal Kibble and put your Bio-Toxin Or Narcotics.
-Step 5: Just keep clearing the area while taming the Giga.
Yeay!!!! You have tamed the 3rd Apex Predator of the Island! π¦π¦ππ₯³π₯³
Now lets showcase the Gigas Abilities and Disablities!
ABILITY 1- Giganotosauruses have a Gnash Effect A.K.A Bleed effect which drops enemies creatures HP up to 30%! So when a Giga does that and when you still avoided it youll still be lossing HP.
ABILITY 2- These creatures are not very behaved they are likely to kill everything even theyre rider when they fall into a very deep slope this ability is called Rage Mode.
Now for the Dissablities!
DISSABILITES
DISSABLITY 1- The Giga Saddle can be only unlovked on lvl 98 so if you tamed a giga while still lvl 87 or 71 ya"ll still need the Saddle to ride it but luckily when your at Mobile and you have lots of amber saved you can buy an Tannery and just get enough thingys in the Tannery to buy a Journeyman Giga Saddle!

More Giganotosaurus Taming & KO Tips
The things you need to tame a giga:-
1)Flyer (recommending an argy).
2)4-5 dinosaur metal gateways.
3)1-2 large bear traps.
4)10x soothing balm if your playing on mobile.
5)Your KO weapon (most recommended are ascendant longneck rifle or ascendant crossbow).
6)Your KO ammo (bring a decent amount).
7)Taming food of your choice (most recommended is raw prime meat or kibble if you can).
8)Decent amount of narcotics or bio toxin.
FIND GIGA: gigas usually spawn at mountains. On the island try looking around the volcano or the two mountains in the snow area.
SET YOUR TRAP: take 3 of your metal gateways and make this shape \_/ then put a large bear trap or 2 in the middle. Itβs easier if you build the trap on flat ground.
TRAP THE GIGA: get the giga to follow you and make it go inside the trap, then make sure itβs caught in the bear trap. When itβs stuck in the bear trap go behind it and complete the trap with another gateway. The final shape of the trap looks like a Trapezoidal.
KO THE GIGA: even a low level giga has a lot of torpor and it drops fast so keep shooting no matter what. Itβs recommended for a tribe-mate to help you.
START FEEDING: put the food in the gigaβs inventory and keep an eye on itβs torpor.

Many a tribe have been foolish enough to think they could fight a wild giga with a tamed and ended up with a dead giga. Don't be them.
I was looking to metal to make a saddle then I said to my brother βi am going to tame a gigaβ as a joke. Not even 10 seconds later a level 55 giga came into view. KEEP IN MIND WE ARE ONLY LEVEL 40!! We are gonna tame it tomorrow with arrows since we donβt have tranq dartsπ wish us luck!
Make 4 metal dino gates and 1 large bear trap. Place three frames and door into an incomplete square and the large bear trap in the I between them. Lure the Giga into the trap and while its trapped place 4th down to make the square. Then just light it up with tranqs
Fully imprinting a giga will NOT cause its health to be doubled but instead gain 16000 extra health, this is because when it is tamed the giga gets -63000 health and -80% melee damage but when it is imprinted the giga gets a 20% increase of every base stat of a normal giga.
Just lure into a metal gate set ups some plant Xs and it will knock out you welcome
I 100% recommend charging straight on a Giga with a wooden club, you wonβt regret it.
