Im seeing one right as i am writing this tip and holy quacamole its BIG! I want to tame it but i can not tame it because i do not have the resources to do a trap and SHOOT IT WITH DARTS IT TAKES 336 DARTS!!! ( It is 145lvl )

Alright, here's an actual tip for mobile players. You need a tamed argentavis with a saddle on and a 10x soothing balm or that other soothing balm if you love wasting ambers, 4x metal dinosaur gateway, 1 trillion biotoxins for showing your giga who's boss by making it experience Odin sleep and around... 69420 raw prime meats, kibbles are fine, but why tho? Also SET YOUR ARGENTAVIS TO PASSIVE.

For the weapons preparation, i suggest speedrunning the volcano cave, artifact of the massive so you can atleast obtain a high dmg ascendant crossbow, and you need around 100 million tranq arrows or if you're rich, Ascendant Longneck Rifle also with 1 million tranq darts

Gigas usually spawn in mountainous regions like the top of griffin mountain in north zone, snowy mountains and the highest point pursuit mountain , you can spend 100000 hours trying to find a high level one in medium-hard difficulty, I recommend tidy saving and save data on the game BEFORE the thing spawns, so if you end up getting low levels you can restore save data making it BEFORE you encountered the low lv Giga, who knows the RNG swaps your low level with high level Gigas?

Now in my experience Gigas ignores tamed creatures in MOBILE unless provoked so you can get yourself as close as possible with your tamed cargo birb as long as you don't attack it.

Now this is the "Pacifist" way to tame a Giga, i'd say..

-Time consuming 8.5/10, make it 9/10

-Danger Level: 2/10 (as long as you don't be a bob attacking the giga)

-Effectiveness: 6/10

-Resources Needed: Mid (ignore the ridicolous numbers, you need alot to knock one out and keep it asleep okay? So bring as many tranqs and biotoxins)

Once you've found your desired Giga, roam around it like National Geographic Camera-man, make a documentary of the Giga, follow the Giga, watch it murder anything in its way, be happy, be traumatized, be consumed with fear UNTIL the Giga finally walk itself into a FLAT location, now once this happens, you look its sorrounding, any victim for the giga? If there is, just keep watching the Giga murder them until theres none. Now your Giga is standing still, no more victims left, here's what you gotta do, land with your argentavis, and plant your 4 METAL dinosaur gateways WHILE RIDING your Argentavis, Lock the Giga in like a square of Metal Dinosaur Gateways. If it fails and Giga got distracted by more victims to murder, just destroy the gates and rebuild since Argentavis have smithy saddles. Repeat another 1000 times hoping it doesn't despawn until you successfully trap the Giga in your gates. Once trapped, your life becomes 1000x easier. Now place a bed near the Giga so you can respawn near if somehow killed.

See that? Yeah, that's what it means. Gate, gate, gate and gate, until Giga can't escape. Why metal?? Because dude can't bite metal.

Giga trapped? Now start blasting all those darts, arrows, whatever, at it in a distance to avoid being a victim of the Murder machine. Keep blasting, dont bother checking Torpor with spyglass, just keep shooting like those good ol days you're running away from Satan Tickle Chicken, keep shooting and shooting and shooting with your tranqs until it fell down and knocked out.

Waste no time, run into the Giga, and use your soothing balm, force feed all that 69420 raw prime meats to your Giga and show em who's boss by forcing it to an Odin sleep with Bio Toxins until it's tamed.

Congrats, you tamed a murder machine. Now their hp dropped to 17,000 from 80,000 and just pray that their melee damage is near 100% so you don't have to spend eternity lvling up its melee before it starts hitting hard.

Now what do you do? You tame another one, breed them and raise families of Gigas until one of them is 100% imprinted and mutated, now you can murder anything in your way.

Side note: ONLY LEVEL UP GIGA'S MELEE DAMAGE

Giga? Obtained. Casualties? None, other than the 1 billion souls of the damned the Giga murdered when it's wild. Resources? Nothing much other than a couple metal gateways, biotoxins and tranqs. Either good luck or good food, for the Giga's stomach

I never fight a giga before and I have op rexes.. I just experienced how powerful he is.

I have 19 rex always ready to fight boss.with saddles 100s

Someone lured the giga close to my base so I decided to give it a try. I bring 10 rexes and my tape whistle attack they fight for like 5 minutes he killed all my op tames.. they had 37k and D600 D700.. so I grab my tek tape and kill him.. I learn my lesson plus now you guys know that u can't fight a giga with rexes.. I may give it another try with healing pigs and rexes to se how it goes..

Trap it with 4 Dino gates or billboards with a large bear trap to knock it out a prim tek bow is better than a crossbow or longneck

I was flying to the mountain close to the volcano called the frozen tooth, I was needing metal, just chillin, when I spot this giga while I'm on my level 111 argue, I panic then realize it's probably a low level cause the bigger they are the less likely they are to have a high level. I should've bought a lottery ticket that day cause my spyglass told me it was level 120! Yes a frickin level 120 spawned on my mountain. What fun.

They are actually easy to taim. I did some math and figured out I can knock it out with 13 shots from my mastercraft longneck rifle with tranq darts and you only need about 150 narcotics(when using prime meat) which is easy to get and only 13 prime meat without a soothing balm(only on mobile).

Very easy beginners tame, did kibble in last slot or prime meat. Go up to it and feed it. I got mine my first day of ark and love him.

Not sure to tame this guy or tuso up this if I should tame a giga down this if I have to tame a tuso -Lando

I don't wanna tame one because im scared of rage and it killing my spino and stuff.

When you tame them they CAN still rage and ruin your progress and kill your tames!!! So, keep them AWAY from your base. But, you can make a mini base with this guy, a mini base being; A small house with a bed and some stuff. make sure it's not too dangerous so your giga doesn't rage and destroy your base! But, i reccomend just to keep it away from your base unless it is really safe and nothing dangerous ever spawns there. Please ^ if this is helpful!

Spawns at fars peak sometimes (griffin mountain) can't get agroed on if riding quetz does decent dmg- about 150 dmg

Haven't seen it mentioned so sorry if I missed it, but these guys lose food super fast. Keep an eye on your food levels and troughs with these guys around. Cryo pods will stop their hunger so they don't starve rage in your base on accident.

The hardest part about taming this monster was luring it into our trap. He wasn't interested in us as bait, so here is how we had to do it: get on your argentavis and pick up a tasty helpless creature like a megaloceros or a phoiomia. The giga will chase this creature for far longer than he will chase you or your tames. Have a friend on another argentavis ready to pick up aggro with another wild dino when yours inevitably gets chomped. Oh, and try not to die in the process. Good luck!

Always have your team-mates with really high health, when found in the wild, go and knock out your mate either bio toxin or any narcotic, oh and then you run... always have your most valued items on you do if you die... well you lost all your stuff, you should try it.

First tame tapajera next go to snow biome and bring rifle with darts lure the giga over a mountain use your tapajera to lan on mountain and start shooting and let your tribe mates do the rest

Put 1 large bear trap 1 dino gate in front of it then it will take 1 tranqu 1 raw meat for lvl 200 or less easier than a dodo try it yourself☺ then you got a giga easy

Its harder then you may think if your trying to lure it into a trap but it cant bite you it will run away but your pretty much dead if your to close to the ground. Be prepared. I just tamed one and its not easy.

R.I.P RoadRunner my gallimnus I was running around and found one of these gigas and I ran past it. It chased me but I was faster then my stamina ran out... luckily I some how managed to survive
