These guys are passive tames you just need some basic kibble and bug repellent and then sneak up on them with every single cryopod you own or it won’t work.

If anyone says that you can bring them into boss fights, they are full of crap. The only boss fights they can participate in are the Titan battles. Any boss fight that makes you use a teleport, the giga can not come. I learned the hard way...😭

Realistically, we all know the most effective way to deal with a giga is to kill it. They are easily one of the most difficult tames in the game just based on consumed resources, and they straight up aren't worth taming unless you plan to super breed them. So, instead I submit you this idea. Make a standard Plinger Phoo giga trap,but lined all along the bottom with metal spike walls. If done correctly, you can lure the giga in and let it die on the spikes. Also useful for clearing out unwanted dinos without wasting bullets or ammo. Just lure into the death trap.

If you get one into the vally that is connected to the Oasis, you can place metal Dino gates on each side it gets stuck and then you can shoot it from above.

Very easy tame use a bat or fist to tame and feed it narcoberries and some meat

Use a flyer like an argentavis, hop of and use shotgun, when the giga gets close fly of and repeat.

Tips for any starters if you see a Giga go up to it hit it a few times and it should be knocked out then feed it mejo’s and it’s a very easy game enjoy your new Giga!

I had the luckiest Giga tame ever. Of course we come looking to tame an Ovis. That’s when we spot a Giga. It just sat there as we shot it with crossbows. Easy Tame!! And on our way back we came across a male and female Ovis. Lucky Day.

One of the easiest tames in the game, just a few swings with the club will do it. It'll take about 10 mins with raw meat to take, the saddle is unlocked at level 15, and he is a great beginner mount. Put him on passive flee though, in case dilos get to him.

I personally think that on the island you need to lure it to the beach and trap in the metal Dino gateway and large bear trap, trap because in the mountains at my level (69) rexes are a problem to me so your best bet to tame use the dinosaur gateway bear trap, trap and make it on the beach (if the mountain is close to a beach)
