Trap Giga out by finding a ruin and then lead it into the ruin and then go through the little tunnel and get in mad and u and it should run towards the tunnel and when it's doing that you have a tribe mate go up behind it and place 5 or 4 stone Dino gates and then u can knock it out

I have tamed 3 Gigas in 3 days with this method.

Recommended shots on dododex only work if it's shot that many times in 10 seconds. Torpor steadily drops even while being shot. So additional shots are required.

These creature are the most love able out of all the Dino's, it gives you a friendly hug and some baked cookies for you on your journey back home

Secondary generation gigas kill wild one easily with 400+400*30% attack.

Remember these are easier to tame then they are to kill. Trap it tranq it with your tribe and hunt the prime only take about 3 hours once it's down.. but to kill it.... good luck.... best bet run to water and swim and keep swimming being eaten by sharks is a better fate and you may have a drowning giga in pursuit

If you want to tame one, just run up to it and tickle him! You get 100% Effectiveness!

Instead of using 4 behemoth gates only use 1, replace the others with metal pillars built as high as you can reach from the ground (5 I think) and don't place the door on the behemoth gate until the giga is in the large bear trap. This will make it much easier to down the giga. Then surround the giga with spike walls once it is down.

It take 400 plus traq arrows to knock out a giga not what ever the heck the app says god

You have no time to shoot all arrows required as he's torpor goes down so fast, so make sure you have a good cliff.

Make about 5 metal dinosaur gates and while your placing them down around it and get your tribe to bate it on a flying tame then star hitting it hrough through the gates because it cant grt through

If you are tranqing it from a quetz bring about twice as many tranqs because you will miss a lot of the time no matter how good you are with a gun or cross bow

Its probably best to tame a level 40 or a little higher to begin with, they arent as hard as everyone says they are, you just need a few metal dino gates, a bear trap, a few friends, and an evacuation method. You truly dont have to worry about the rage as much as people say you do just don't intentionally hurt it, once it has taken a certain amount of damage it will rage and there goes everything

easy to tame solo on a quetz no need for ft raps you can use the environment I myself have tamed upto lvl 140 solo and my friend solo'd his 40 odd gigas (which he took to a Titanosaur fight) if you know what your doing easiest tame in the game

Everyone knows a wild giga is stronger than a tamed but at what stat can a wild be killed by tamed? Your giga needs at least 280 melee with over 35000 hp and at least a journeyman saddle so your rage doesn't go up for a lvl 5 wild giga. It is possible if raised. We have soloed a lvl 50. And wasn't even down half hp

Bring 2x to 3x tranq's you need if you solo tame, helps a lot when you run out of what it says in here generally run though 1.2x required from listings.

If you're not worried about having best efficiency (eg you just want it for eggs), once downed use a low level scorpion to boost the torpor.
