On ragnorok there is a spawn place in the grass lands by the light house near the wyvern trench also I used about 40 shock darts and 300 bio toxin on tameing one put be worned a level one wild giga has 80000 health and 100 present melle damage. Note all hunters; if you find one these on a low level, immediately run. Even if you are at a high level these things can kill you with one stomp.

These savages are so OP in the wild, only one or two spawn in the ark so it doesn't wipeout every single lifeform in the server. You don't have to worry about running into a Giga cause' they only spawn in the mountains on the island

I did encourage a giga in the center i didn't run away but i did fight it then trapped it this morning. Then i tamed it.

A week ago, I saw a lvl 120 giga. I thought it's just a little bit stronger than a rex and tried to tame it with a mastercraft crossbow and 35 tranq arrows. 35 Tranq arrows. 35 freaking tranq arrows. Biggest mistake in my life.. rip my mastercraft crossbow.

That moment you start the Thin Air pursuit and this guy spawns RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU. Thank God it didn’t aggro on me but on other dinos in sight. I probably was too small for this guy to even notice.

This is for anyone on a boosted server.

If your speed is boosted then all the speed you’ll need to outrun this beast of a Dino is 400% movement speed and you’ll be able to outrun it on foot on land but be careful cause the higher movement speed you are the further you go when you dismount you’re flier. This is after testing it out on multiple ocassions and dieing many times over.

Don’t fight a wild giga with a tamed giga tamed giga have way less health than wild gigas

There is always a giga on the mountain in the top right of the island map for me. For those that are asking
