Avoid fighting a wild Giganotosaurus directly—escape by flying away, leading it toward deep water, or distracting it with other creatures. If you must kill one, stay on a high, unreachable platform or platform mount and use sustained ranged fire or automated weapons while keeping out of bite range; do not rely on ordinary tamed creatures in a head-on fight.
