You’ll never run fast enough. Where you’re going, you won’t need legs. 1 chomp and it’s over. If you’re mad enough to take on one of these alone, you’d better bring a small army’s worth of ammo, though, I personally believe bullets just make them angrier. If you see a pair of these, await your execution with grace, it will all be over soon.

On ASA single player, the gigas spawn in the volcano and blue obelisk.

When you see this on fast creatures category and you went to test out if it really is fast..

Okay if you EVER knock one out do not get bored and go into its mouth remember to feed it narcotics and bio toxin I learned the hard way… :(

Gigas will spawn at the mountain nearest carno island they will spawn on the north side and near blue ob on the north or west side of the mountain they also spawn be careful these guys will destroy you with one bite

Mountains... near the snow... sometimes woods... VERY VERY FAR AWAY FROM SOUTH

If a giga ever wants to kill you, there isn't a force in nature that can stop it.

On the island map you will always find one at The Frozen Fang region.

Personally I don’t take these as the rage is a stupid thing so if encountering these I recommend if your on a flyer like the astrodelphis harassment is a good

Tactical decision

If you are unlucky enough to encounter one of these monsters, get in the fetal position and hope it’s over quickly.

If you make your base on the south side of the wyvern heir nest on crystal isles and one of these bad boys spawn at your base I have no advice but to abandon all hope and let it destroy everything you own because it will kill you and everything you own unless you have something rediculesly strong (btw these things spawn south of the crystal heir nest in the desert on crystal isles so now you know where not to build or where to find one)

Be careful with giga.if hp of your dino is low, it will die in one bite

I couldnt help but laugh at all the story’s on here. I had an encounter where a gigs had his head stuck in a rock I figured well let’s see if it is actually stuck. It wasn’t but I happened to be in my 142 pter and I went to the top of the volcano and killed him with an ascendant longneck

Final words of the jammicus: hey dude I just shot that giga with a bow...oh s**t

I didn’t even need traps to tame it all I needed was a tall cliff and to lure it over on my quetzal then shoot it with around 70-80 tranq arrows (the level of the giga affects how many you tranq arrows you need for a level example: you need 80-90 for a level 68 giga)

How to escape,

1. Never be alone always bring a tribe mate

2. If giga Agroes onto you bola your friend

3. Run for your life

If your on mobile and want to get easy levels, get an explorer note and a crossbow with a grapple, if you grapple on to the giga it cant hit you and u can kill it if you have a decent sword, aim the grapple at the hind hips of the giga, i killed one with hard brutal and it was level 365, took a few minutes and i got 4 levels which is a lot for the difficulty i was on and i was on level 53

*Flying over the mountains on an argy, going to get a wolf.*

Me: An allo? What’s it doing here? Haven’t seen one of those this high up.

*Telescope time.*

Me: Woah, that’s a giga! I’m gonna tame it.

*Looks it up, finding that it’s way too expensive.*

Me: Welp, it’s a tad close to my base. I’m gonna divebomb it and kill it.

*Divebombs and gets bit.*

Me: Holy... half my argy’s health is gone. I’ll be careful next time.

*Continues to divebomb, and both argy and I become his snacc.*

Me: No! Raven! Nooooo!

*Grabs bary and goes to retrieve stuff.*

Moral of the story: don’t mess with dangerous stuff. Especially the giga. You’ll save yourself a ton of time, effort, and stuff avoiding these overgrown-megalizards.
