Run away so fast you can when you see it

Thought a wyvern could take. Had a dead wyvern after words. Always run. Never fight. Do as I say not as I do.

If you need to kill one, use an auto turret. It took me less than three minutes.

Most common spots where you can find them is highlands, the dessert and bear green ob (less common).

Can spawn anywhere at these locAtkins.

If you ever want to kill one. Just get 2000 simple rifle bullets and maxed out simple rifle and lure it out sea... then blast it with bullets for 30 minutes

You cannot run away. You will end up in its stomach

If you want to kill it, do so with a high level lightning wyvern (very high and well leveled up), it's totally doable even with normal settings. Avoid close contact though, it still shreds you in seconds.

If you see, just run because it will 1 shot you and its faster so dont let it see you.

Don't live in areas but gauges spawn commonly it sucks

The Rex was about the same size but in ark the giga is 4 x bigger

If one spawns near your base get your good dinos and abandon it unless you foolishly think u can take it on

Killing a wild giga with a tamed giga is suicidal, unless you own a max level pair with almost 300 armor value for the saddle and both are fully imprinted. I only recommend this method against low level gigas, around levels 1 to 5. Anything higher and you need to swarm them with fully imprinted high level gigas with better saddle armor. Many of them will still die, but they'll get the job done.

Screw the giganotosaurus. If you see this kid, run away. Tame a carcha, mego, spino or rex.

DO NOT use a tamed Giga to kill a wild Giga. Tamed Gigas gain a massive nerf to health and attack and lack the ability to use the gnashed debuff like the wild Gigas can. If high lvl, imprinted and with a high quality saddle, you might be able to take on a low lvl Wild however.

Treat Wild Gigas like bosses, use a well leveled and saddled army of tames specced into melee and HP. Wild Gigas have 80k HP and 500 base melee, for reference a base Rex has a mere 1.1k hp and 65 base melee. Alternatively a mother load of auto turrets with a ton of ammo protected by metal gateways can eventually kill a Giga.

Fun fact: on mobile, the giga is neutral to tames.

I found this out when i was trying to wipe out some guy's tames in my server with a wild giga but the giga just stood there, and just wandered.

it applies when you are riding mounts too (for example, quetzal, galliminus, equus, argentavis*)

*that one guy who said that their argy ran out of stamina and landed next to a giga, if you're on mobile, that's perfectly fine since the giga is neutral to tames.

One day I was playing a new server It was my first time playing ark so of course dumb old me spawned in the MIDDLE OF A FREAKING MOUNTAIN IN THE ARCTIC and thought it was a nice place. So I made tools and a campfire before dying to a saber tooth. So I went back TO THE SAME FREAKING PLACE and was hungry. So I bonked a mammoth. Little did I know I could’ve bonked penguins, INSTEAD OF BEING MAULED BY 15 MAMMOTHS. Try 3, STILL THE SAME FREAKING SPOT and I spawned on a giant mountain. So I was about to jump off to respawn somewhere when I saw A GIGA. I thought it was a cool T. Rex so I slid down and bonked him with a club I just crafted. Little did I know, that dang thing IS THE STRONGEST IN THE GAME. So I respawned, STILL IN THE FREAKING ARCTIC. I saw an iceberg with 3 allos on it and, dumb old me tried to tame them and I died. So I finally did it ONE MORE TIME. I bonked penguins, made a campfire and clothes, tools, and a big base. I finally started getting far when THE GIGA IS BACK AND ANGRY and ATE MY BASE, MY NEW PENGUIN, AND MY SABERTOOTH. Moral of the story: don’t live in the arctic. Ever.
