Weak creature.....when using an army of 24 Allosaurs. Did I mention, your army will only be two or three Allosaurs after the battle.

This how you tame it you place 3 gates and a bear trap when it gets trapped quickly place another gate and just tranq it

When u have want to tame a gigga use a argi fly above it while your friend shoots it or just get on a mountaim with lotsbof crustal and other so it can get stuck

In some Version of Ark you can use grappling hook to grapple on his rips and knock it easy out !!! Its not working always!!!

If one is running forwards you jump in the water and hope the tusos leave you alone.

In ark mobile if you pump too much biotoxin and the torpor goes above the limit, don’t crash. You will freak.

My first time I encountered this, I was with my tribe, me and my tribe thought "oh sweet a rex" next thing I knew we were running into the redwoods, then we were slain by some troodons, never think this thing is a rex, It's a rex on steroids

If you encounter a giganotosaurus in the wild, just stand still, they can't see you if you stand still

If u have 3 gigas lvl 60 or under n take on a wild lvl 8 u gona def lose best bet at least 4 120+ gigas to take 1 down or a quetz with lots of amo or flame arrows

Giga's usually spawn on mountains, so I find it easy if u lure it to the bottom of a cliff to the point where it gets stuck then you just to the top of the cliff and shoot it with tranqs. The more tribe mates you have the better

I’m a counsel player and me and two other of my friends are playing an unofficial sever where the rates are crazy and we are going to Ragnorok with a griffin I’ll be the one riding it and they are going to grapple onto the griffin and they will then shoot it with shocking tranq darts then we are going to cryo it and then we find another one and do the same thing until we have a really good breeding couple then we will level the baby up to max and hopefully rule the server

Use a stun gun much easier it knocks out after like 1,000,000,000 hits

if you are alibe use an ascendant crosbow is beter for solo taming a long neck is good if you tame whit 3 or 4 people

I can not find any of these on the island.

My stego somehow killed a level 3 giga I was trying to tame and now I can’t find another one

Goes to my narco box (I have like 50 stacks of narcos in there) I grabbed a few stacks and some narco darts and left to find one when I found one I trapped it I recommend using a large bear trap and metal gates since I play on mobile I used a 10 times tame helper ( it took about forty minutes) then I realized that I had no way to get it back home there was no such thing as a cryopod so I started walking I wasn’t a high enough level to ride it to it took a long time when I finally got back t looked at it’s stats and it had 21% attack now it was a low level but really and I pump attack in to it and it doesn’t even go up I need to know if this is normal but if your gonna tame one go for a high level don’t do what I did

Hey guys This is a tip to prevent dying on giga

1.Dont get too close in to it cause he is a strong creature it can bite you on continous damage

2.Stop trapping the giga It can destroy your traps(I dont know if large bear trap works)

3.Dont go near other creature to prevent effects (including pulmono) even if you run away the giga is faster than any(i dont know raptor though)

4.If you use flying make sure you dont go too near on land(except when stuck) its ok to use tape or any flying creature that has 2 or more seats

Last.Giga are tall,cause its 3x bigger than rex so be careful

Bonus:Giga spawns at mountains to find one you need to set Hardcor Brutual thats only I can find though Up if its helps

Now If you encounter a giga,Don't try to shoot it meanwhile running because there are plenty of dangerous animals nearby it and the giga is way more faster and make sure you use a beartrap or else it will escape when making your giga trap,And also put your pet away or else it will get killed even if you put it to passive.Use Kibble or Raw meat with soothing balms, Narcotics if you have neither then just make narcotics in the mortar and pestle.

BEWARE THEY CAN RAGE ON MOBILE I was just passing by with my giga at one of my old traps: a 2 by 2 1 wall tall wood trap and he got stuck on it but then he got unstuck and rage mode turned on i could luckily run away since the first thing he had to kill in front was a phiomia and a dodo,so always leave him far from your base just in case, up so more people see this

Make a trap using 14 metal pillars. Place one down, then one on either side in the snap points. Place another along the middle, then a third along the middle then a fourth the same way. Remove the middle original pillar and the first one you placed opposite the original three. Place 4 additional pillars atop the two that were opposite the original middle, then 2 additional pillars on the one two snap points away from those. It should look like:

Pillar one 5 tall (empty snap point) pillar two 5 tall.

(Empty snap point)

Pillars three 3 tall

Pillars four 1 tall.

You lead the giga towards the trap on the one pillars side, it will hop over that, over the 3 pillars tall snap and get stuck between that and the two 5 pillar tall pillars. It won't even be able to turn.
