If you want to raid but the guy has a giga, tame a wooly rhino, lvl up damage and insta rage the giga with a tackle

The best way to KO one of these is by playing three metal gates and a large bear trap in the middle then lead the giga in the middle then place another metal gate behind it then use a long neck and shoot it out

Admin on a server gave me a giga egg for finding a titan. Someone else helped me find it and they got an egg too. The admin is nice as heck lol.

NEVER ever get your tamed giga’s health to be under 50% or lower, it will activate RAGE mode. Rage mode is an aggressive stance that eats on EVERYTHING including you and your tames even if it’s tamed. Becareful of using the giga against a powerful dino or jumping of a cliff while riding a giga, entering rage mode while riding a giga will kick you off it’s saddle and eat you. Rage mode typically lasts for 20 seconds, however rage mode will buff the giga into a deadly machine! Rage mode buff will make your giga’s damage to 2x the damage. You might notice it’s glowing eyes when you suspect it to be in rage mode. I may be suggesting you removing your best weaponry and Armor to your base when your about to ride your giga anytime if you want for a risky stunt/adventure. After its rage mode finished it’s timer, it will go back to normal and it’s still tamed if your worried.

this is tip just for ark mobile... to tame giga you need Quetz kibble. If you dont have it I highly recomend using raw prime meat. if y EVEN dont have it use cooked prime meat. To knock out giga I highly recomend using toxicant arrovs.

Easy breed but don't walk away while hand feeding. And prepare to live 11 days in 3 to 4 hour intervals if you want 100% imprint. Mine is 2 days from completion and with imprinting is at 291.4 mellee. Born at 245 mellee lvl 231 female.

If you are using the Darts your going to need hundreds of them and maybe 10 longnecks

I had 11 giga with many fully imprinted.2 are lvl 130+ and the rest are all 70+ in lvl.The parent had 17k health while their babies which I fully imprinted has 33k health.All of their melee is around 130 percent.11 of them vs a lvl 25 wild giga and all 11 giga suffered 10k loss in health so don't even try to fight a wild one with a tamed one even if it's fully imprinted.

I recommend building a tower near your trap, for context a Rex came and I ran but forgot about the giga and let’s just say that giga go a little snack

I lead the giga to the titan and the titan didnt even do anything. It died🥲

Watch out for gallis when riding a giga

Easiest way to tame is probably to take an Argie, a grappling hook, a longneck, and a LOT of tranq/shocking darts. One person flies the argie above the gigs, the other person hangs below and shoots. If you have enough people you can have multiple chasing it from the sky and shooting, making the whole process go faster. Then, just guard it’s fine give it narcs and wait, and your tribe now has a giga

Up if you guys think this should be smaller but not smaller then the rex, because in real life giga is bigger than rex but in ark giga is bigger than a real life Brachiosaurus

Put three metal behemoth gateways making a kind of U like this: \_/ then just lead it in, and place on more on the opening and it’s trapped. In the end, the trap should look like this: __ I mean kinda. It can’t get out now, just tranq

\_/ And give it a bunch of mutton. Make sure you have biotoxin to force feed it when torp gets low. Once it’s tamed, level up it’s damage to 100% that’s all you need and now just level up stam and whatever else you want u have a magnificent battle creature

But put rocks in the Giga to weigh it down

This way if it agros it can't move and kill your dinos

If you playing on mobile it's actually easy to catch one

You need

4 dinos gate way

Around 300 bio toxin for a lvl100 giga (don't spam )

Shooting balm

5 quitzel kibbel

And 200 darts if you have the regular weapon. If you have the ancient one you will need way less then that

A large bear trap

Make a u shape with the gates and put the bear trap in it

Drage him inside (use a petronodon with a hight hp ) and closs it from behind (be quick)

Kepp your distance and start shouting him (don't stop till it's down)

Feed him the shouting balm then give him the kibbel

And it's yours

If you are on mobile ane playing Easy difficulty... Just waste time on him its not worth it... Wild Giga can one bite and kill your dino but once you tame him (which is way difficult because of his fastest torpor drain) he even fail to kill a Patchy or Dodo in one bite 😭 I am on lvl 75 and made saddle using expensive resources... This dino is sh!t once tamed ❌

Me and my friend were trying to get wyverns on rag when we found a Giga. Don’t judge us we were you and nieve so we lured it in the trench! Little did we know it did in fact kill all the wyverns so we grab all the eggs unfortunately we ran out of Stam… It was a bloody battle

kill it

revive it* (at obelisk, preferably green)

make it fall off the cliff while you stand at the little platform just above that

tranq it while it tries to bite you (youre in the range of the bite, but you wont take dmg and the giga wont run away once in a while)

*average giga implant costs 24 amber, max takes 48
