I love how this actually tells you how many fist hits or club hits it takes as if anyone would be dumb enough to try to knock out a wild giga with bare fists or a melee weapon. If someone shows prrof they knocked it out with their fists and no god mode/cheats on then id give them 100$ cash.

While my brother and I are trying to tame a giga, a purlovia jumped me and my pt named TOOTHLESS, I was surrounded by dire wolves at the time and the giga was next to me. I got killed by a wolf and my brother got on my pt to save it but both toothless and my brother got killed by the giga.

So for taming a giga in mobile its too ez. There is a giga logic in mobile that it will not aggro on you if you are on a tame (any) and unless if you hurt them. So just use a argy, sit under its feet literally and put the metal gates around it and trap it. And then get a distance of atleast 30-40m and start tranqing it. BTW after trapping it, i will recommend to sleep then knock it out after waking bcz it will be starving due to trap logic (only works in mobile). Then put the balm and prime. Boom it will tame instantly due to starving and we dont need to get worried for its torpor drain. Thanks me later...

If you bait the giga into rocks it can get stuck I wasted my tame making a trap but it didn't work so I tried to do it again when I bait the giga near the rock it just got stuck so tranq it in the front because it is stuck I use 500+ arrow but I carry 1000 arrow of tranq so if you don't want to grind on metal gates try stucking the giga on the rocks

Step 2: run like Heck and shoot

Step 3: gain experience shooting

Step 4: forget escape vehicle

Step 5: cuss and smack the controller into the tv

Step 6: cry into pillow

Step 7: get woke up by by giga chomp noises

WHEN TAMED! On a pvp server mostly make sure 100% of the time he/she is in a separate cage completely away from all other Dino's!! This is because after a certain amount of dmg done to the giga he will begin to "rage" he will turn on you even after all the happy memories you've had. Also even attacking all his Dino friends! :( so be sure to lock up this beast of a Dino!

Fully imprinting a giga will NOT cause its health to be doubled but instead gain 16000 extra health, this is because when it is tamed the giga gets -63000 health and -80% melee damage but when it is imprinted the giga gets a 20% increase of every base stat of a normal giga.

When you tame a giga it loses 65k health and around half it's damage.

TAMING THIS THING IS A NIGHTMARE, I MEAN IT!

I tried taming one once and I got killed, note that I was max level and using compound bow, I suggest you (if you want one) to constantly shoot it with toxicant arrows not darts, it stacks more, and always shoot the head, Do not I repeat DO NOT approach this devils when you're not near level 80+ or lower, it also has a very extreme tapor drain! So don't stop shooting it until you put that devil into a deep slumber!

The babies need a ridiculous amount of food. Had to commit genocide to make my little bastard a snack.

Gigas drown very easily, always keep that in mind, it could save your ass one day

Pro tip:

Gigas can't swim well or breathe underwater. Knowing this may well save your life one day.

I have tamed my first Giga. Two of my eagles died in the process and I died several times myself. However, after two hours I was finally redeemed and my very first giga was tamed. I have never been so happy in this game. (700h)

I didn't have a name right after taming. I wanted to think of one on the way home. My path ran along the northern beach.

After 300-400m, less than 30 seconds later, I ran straight into the arms of a lvl 4 Giga.

I've rarely been as shocked as I was at that moment.
