To tame it just make the classic trap, place 3 metal behemoth gates in a square shape, keep some space inbetween them to shoot from the outside, then place 1 or 2 large bear traps in the middle of the three, make sure to make the trap on a flat area, open one of the gates (it doesn't matter wich one) and lure the giga into the trap, a pteranodon should be enough to do this, make sure to hit the giga at least one, i recommend aiming at the tail otherwise you'll get destroyed with 1 bite, onche the guga enter the trap, it will be caught by a bear trap, you have a few seconds to close the gates then beggin shooting and have a lot of patienece, stay away from the trap, something like 30 m should be safe.
If you play on mobile go to the lava cave at the southeast of the island and tribute the artifact of the massive until you have an ascendant rifle with at least 1000 damage, with this rifle you'll knock out the giga a lot faster and with less darts and you don't have the risk of the rifle breaking mid-taming, also go to the cave at the south of the island to get some soothing balm.
A lvl 150 without soothing balm and ascendant rifle will take more than 500 darts, it will break at least 1 rifle and will take more than 50 prime meat, that's a damn lot of brontos even with a high level rex, and mot of the prime meat will also spoil so you'll have to keep an eye on the giga very often, it will become anoying if the taming is far away from your base, and the giga will also need more than a whole hour to tame, also the tamimg efficiency will decrease and your giga will lose some levels.
if you have an ascendant rifle and soothing balm a lvl 150 won't take more than 200 darts, it will fall asleep a lot faster, it will only need like 6 prime meat, you can get that from a few brontos, stegos or mamoths in less than 5 minutes, it will take a few minutes to tame and the taming efficiency won't go lower than 98% if you take care of it.
Also be sure and I mean 100% sure that you have AT LEAST 1 entire stack of biotoxin (500) or a bunch of stacks of narcotics (at least 1000) in the case of a high level giga. I personally prefer biotoxin, it's easy to farm if you have a good crossbow or pike, even a sword works pretty well.
More Giganotosaurus Taming & KO Tips
The things you need to tame a giga:-
1)Flyer (recommending an argy).
2)4-5 dinosaur metal gateways.
3)1-2 large bear traps.
4)10x soothing balm if your playing on mobile.
5)Your KO weapon (most recommended are ascendant longneck rifle or ascendant crossbow).
6)Your KO ammo (bring a decent amount).
7)Taming food of your choice (most recommended is raw prime meat or kibble if you can).
8)Decent amount of narcotics or bio toxin.
FIND GIGA: gigas usually spawn at mountains. On the island try looking around the volcano or the two mountains in the snow area.
SET YOUR TRAP: take 3 of your metal gateways and make this shape \_/ then put a large bear trap or 2 in the middle. Itโs easier if you build the trap on flat ground.
TRAP THE GIGA: get the giga to follow you and make it go inside the trap, then make sure itโs caught in the bear trap. When itโs stuck in the bear trap go behind it and complete the trap with another gateway. The final shape of the trap looks like a Trapezoidal.
KO THE GIGA: even a low level giga has a lot of torpor and it drops fast so keep shooting no matter what. Itโs recommended for a tribe-mate to help you.
START FEEDING: put the food in the gigaโs inventory and keep an eye on itโs torpor.

Many a tribe have been foolish enough to think they could fight a wild giga with a tamed and ended up with a dead giga. Don't be them.
I was looking to metal to make a saddle then I said to my brother โi am going to tame a gigaโ as a joke. Not even 10 seconds later a level 55 giga came into view. KEEP IN MIND WE ARE ONLY LEVEL 40!! We are gonna tame it tomorrow with arrows since we donโt have tranq darts๐ wish us luck!

Make 4 metal dino gates and 1 large bear trap. Place three frames and door into an incomplete square and the large bear trap in the I between them. Lure the Giga into the trap and while its trapped place 4th down to make the square. Then just light it up with tranqs
Just lure into a metal gate set ups some plant Xs and it will knock out you welcome
I 100% recommend charging straight on a Giga with a wooden club, you wonโt regret it.

I knocked one out with a HUGE amount of froggoโs I started with 35 frogs all level 100-150 and by the time he fell I had 4 frogs one ^ is a frog memory!
