I already tamed an giga at lv 78 and the tip was just get lots of tranquilizing darts and when he runs get into an area where he will get stuck while running and that's it easy tame. Btw be on top of an area that's above the length of him.

The best way to knock out a giga is to make the tail face a cliff and get on a platform saddle quetz and make the giga face the quetz so if the giga runs the cliff blocks the giga from running so you can pump it with trank darts Ps have at least 1000 narcotics

How to tame a giga:

First you will need around 100-400 tranqs depending on its level (shocking tranqs are a good choice but spoil)

Also a good rifle (ascendant or any around their) and make sure you time each shot around 3-5 seconds

It's also recommended if U use a good flyer with decent health just in case it gets bit and high stamina and speed.

You can also make a trap if needed

Their torpor goes down quick so you will need lots of the sleeping stuff and you call also use soothing balm or sanguine made from 200 blood packs in a tamed Dracula's inventory.

Make sure to try to make a trap of some sort because the giga will torpor run when it's high on torpor. I tried taming a giga without a trap once and when it was torpor running it died because it ran in the water

Never fight a Wild Giganotosaurus head on unless you wanna get rekkt!! If you have tamed a low level wild giga e.g 20-85 ish, be careful around Alpha T-Rex’s as they can still pack quite a punch! I nearly lost my level 85 giga because I had no stamina etc.

A good desmodus or other agile small size flyers will do, just have to make sure that you have enough stamina or it could mean death.

Very good melee when tamed but health is nerfed

The REAL scientific name of the Giganotosaurus translates to “Giant Lizard of the South”, since their fossils have been found mostly in Argentina, South America.

To kill a Giganotosaurus, a good lightning wyvern, managarmr, or even reaper is preferable. Wild Gigas regain lots of health from eating corpses, so try to clear the area. Make sure to always have an escape plan if things go south.

The many ways to kill a wild giga:

Bite its tail with literally any flyer (Tapejara griffin or tropeo recommended)

Shoot it with a rifle from the back of a griffin/tapejara

Use a lightning/poison wyvern

Spit at it with a basilisk

Shoot it with a velonasaur on the back of a quetzal

Sic a titan on it

Lure it into deep water and use any aquatic dino

Freeze it with an ARK: Additions Cryolophosaurus and retreat when it unfreezes

Use hit-and-run tactics to bleed it to death with a speed leveled carno

Shoot it with a tek saddle (preferably tapejara or rock drake)

Blow it to hell with a saddled Tropeognathus

Press tab and type 'kill' while looking directly at the giga

Found mine around LAT 22.9 LON 48.9

Lvl 125 female tamed it with about 2*40 pieces of reg meat 10% per bite with with about 1000 -3000 bio toxin

Took about 100 darts and 100 arrows to knock hope this helps (and one 10% soothing balm)

On mobile you just need this a compound bow can get it with arthro and 4 metal gate 1 large bear trap and when you trapped it spam it with tranq arrows give it some soothing balm 10x and make sure you pack a good amount of bio toxin and now you have a trash giga with 18000 hp instead of 80000 hp

What if you don’t have a tribemate with you to bola, you can’t just bola the air. Your toast.

When it goes into rage just keep running and pray that doesn't catch up eat you

However many narcos you think you need, triple it and then add another thousand

How to survive a giga.

Firstly, you could be faster than your friend, but you don’t have friends so that won’t work. Maybe sacrifice some innocent dodo to save yourself.

Secondly, if you are on a mountain, parachute off and pray it loses agro. Though, you killed hundreds of innocent creatures before so better be lucky instead of good.

Thirdly, you can get full ascended gear and blast it to kingdom come. I’m talking full ascended tek, and maybe a few hundred c4s

That’s how you survive a giga.
