If you want your your tamed giga to be strong you need to tame male and female they will be weak but if you mate them and make from them baby and imprint it it will be strong and when you level him the level will raise up more then the tamed giga from wild

If you plan to take on a Giganotosaurus alone then you will need to get on a very high surface, as a Giga is about 2.5x larger than a Rex. After not being able o reach you for about 15-20 seconds, it will flee. This is why having a Quetzal with a platform saddle is VERY useful for killing a Giga. Happy hunting!

When gigas take a certain amount of damage or lose a certain amount of health in a short period of time, they become enraged and kill everything in its path, even its allies.

ANALYZE

Gigas can enrage, when enraged they are uncontrollable and you cannot ride them. They will attack any nearby creature, in its sight, AKA KOS, Kill On Sight. Luckily this only lasts 20 seconds. If a giga loses 45% of health out of 80,000 or a tamed giga has 7-5k out of 17k then it rages. The giga will become enraged if it falls a large distance, gets a powerful attack by another Dino, or alpha king stomp, it goes mad.

Possible solution..?

when riding your giga, make sure to have a cryopod of a fast tame, or just have it following you like gallimimus, when the giga rages or is about to rage it should kick you off, and/or you have to hop off and uncryo the tame (it is recommended to have it follow you since cryo sickness is a thing. Cryo sickness is similar to having a Dino knocked out and it has to wake up by itself) hop on the game and run! When the giga rages it should have a red skull. Enjoy playing ark and stay safe! if you encounter one on a mount, dont worry! On mobile ALL tamed mounts will be ignored by wild gigas. It 100 percent works with galliminus

In Lost Island, there's a giga spawn near 34, 32 and it has a cave that's big enough for you and a smaller rideable tame - but not the giga. You can easily knock one out by sitting in the cave and shooting at it, and you can go out the tunnel to go back to the front.

Shoot it as much as you can as quickly as you can i know dodex says not to but if your weapon breaks you can repair it and the Giga won’t lose torpor or if the server lags

How to tame a giga

Step 1 tame an army of scorpions

Step 2 give scorpions max damage

Step 3 set aggressive

Step 4 trap a giga you want

Step 5 set your scorpions from 4 different directions into the trap

Step 6 give giga food and narcotics

Step 7 kill every dino that's ever hurt you

Step 1: Take 100 rare mushrooms

Step 2: charge giga with 2 clubs (1 backup)

Step 3: Tame giga

It’s simple people.

It takes a lot more tranq darts than you think... Dex said around 410 for the lvl 135 we just took down, it was more like 800 darts (with a ram rifle) and 150 arrows (with mc crossbow)... bring ALL the darts!!!

If you're low on metals or want a trap that doesn't cost too much then use metal billboards. They work the same as metal gates and basically just cheaper. Be sure to use large bear traps tho.

I saw one near the redwood and I got one picker and then ran right under his head and up the hill turned around and saw him running at me while running I was terrified and guy if you want or find one look around the redwood mountains and near the ice good luck and remember don’t stop running’s

A raised giga with a 50%+ imprint that has about 30k health and 330 melee can destroy a titanosaur. Your welcome.

To the person responding to the person responding to the person who wants there to be a platform saddle... That's the point of the titanosaur, and is why it's only a temporary tame. Its op, but limited. The giga would still be op, just not limited.

A Giga doesn’t do exactly 500 damage if you have armor. Giga’s also can’t damage metal gateways so building a few of those and create a circle with them, trap him inside and boom you basically have a giga, just make sure to have enough narcotics or bio toxins cuz they wake up hella fast. They get nerfed hella when tamed as well so don’t expect this over powered Dino when taming lol
