How to find a giga to tame or kill (helpful tip)

Step 1: go to a mountain

Step 2: kill/clear all the creatures on the mountaun (goodluck lol)

Step 3: wait a few hours for a giga to spawn

Step 4: you have found one (or not cuz they are rare and rarely spawn)

So easy to tame. I could even do it at lvl 1. Just run up to it and punch it.trust me just do it. Up for noobs!

Don’t go for them early on go for them late game get tranqs get. Tapejara and get a good amount of shocking darts get a saddle as well one of my tribe members thought they could kill a giga with a griffin level 99 well… the griffin died

If you have a quetzal then you can use it to for over the giga then unmount on the platform and make sure to use the compound bow with shocking arrows. Make sire to aim for the head and hit consistently and bring At least 200 arrows. This is one of the safest and quickest ways to knockout a giga. You can then wait a while when it is unconscious make sure not to feed it. And when you have waited for a very long time and made sure not to feed it and keep it asleep and alive with membrane then use soothing balm if you have some and feed them some food. The taming bar will go up extremely fast this way and it will keep you safe.

1. Just get 4 metal gates and 1 giant bear trap put them in like a square form the place bear trap in the middle 2. use a flyer vest to use a argy with good speed and health lead it to trap and place the last metal gates and knock and feed it quartz kibble boom you got a giga *use balms if you play on mobile*

If u want to tame this beast. You have two ways

Passibe taming and violent taming

Violent taming:

Find a giga and trap it with 3 metal dinosaur gateways and bear trap in the middle. Lure the giga, it will step on bear. Now quickly put the 4 gate way on the opening side and knock it out

Put food of ur choice and feed it large amount of narcotics

Passive method:

Apply bug repellent(giga wouldn't get agro on insects)

Go to the giga face and feed it a soothing balm(for faster result)

Now u can feed it the food of your choice

But becareful bcuz bug reppelent duration is only 10 minutes

In order to trap a Giga you have to tame a lvl:230 pteranodon and ONLY upgrade:speed & health otherwise there’s a high chance of death.

Ey giga are not useful in mulitipiler cuz you thought it will get many damage and blood once you tame its have low health and damage it doenst have many damage its like 46 damage you can gain it by farming

I remember one time I was going mining and in the mountains I saw this thing thinking it was a rex I aproched with my diplo ( my diplo was the best for carrying heavy items at the time) when I seen the name I was confused then when it hit me I just started running and did not stop once I ran outta stamina I was by the edge of the redwoods trying to heal my diplo after that stupid chicken things started to attack me eventually me and diplo died to titanboas

I tried fighting a lvl 15 giga with a 380 lightning wyvern and almost lost

Easiest way to knock it out is actually super easy! You only need a club, a bola, a gulilabola, and a dodo. First, to get the gulilabola, you need to throw a bola at a spino, and then it will float back to you upgraded. Now that you have your upgraded bola, you bola the dodo, gulilabola the Giga, and club the dodo to death. Then shut off ARK and go eat dirt and log back on. The Giga will be knocked out and ready to tame! Up so newbies can see.

To find a giga look in the mountains cus gigas spawn there and do not die use also toxicant arrows and shocking tranquilizer bullets

I want giganotosarurus because

Im lvl 50, take my argy Falcone to the mountain, just to see a lvl 3 Giga right in front of me. Hasn't aggroed at all, and a beautiful green color. It was also female. I was so shocked, that my jaw dropped. I had just seen a Titan too. When it comes to gigas, they are rare for me. But a titan, is completely uncommon for me. I am still shocked to see the giga. A purlovia spawned 15 inches away from it (I guess). Giga hasnt rampaged, or aggroed on anything yet. I've got a joke for you all at the end too). Is this the worlds first "nice" Giga? I was able to get pretty close without the giga aggroing. The giga still hasnt aggro yet. Pretty shocking to encounter this, yet so cool.

The giga wasn't as big as I thought, so I was a little "meh" with it.

Beware that the Giga will get hungry very easily. I recommend bringing it when you go out and set it to aggressive (beware of titanosaurs)
