If you encounter a mega tribes giga and you don’t have a giga with 315 melee when you burly popped the egg your not winning so just run or get 3 of your weak gigas and you might win but they always have fully imprinted giga’s so you might not win just a tip for you guys :)

I recently realised these guys only take one tranq the trick is shoot your tribemate in the face and run like hell while your friend gets chomped on. Worked for me...

If you find one on a mountain and plan to tame it, bait it off. If you aren’t on a mount, it will probably hit you and either insta kill you from the hit or deal extreme knock back damage and send you flying. Easier if you bait it into a gorge

I killed one with my argentavis also a titan issue it has over 16,000 damage

Whenever you so much as see a Giga just runs while screaming "I MESSED UP!".

Killed one with my parasaur on ragnarok by luring it into deep water then swimming around it that is how easy wild ones can drown took no time.

It's your best friend!!!! Run up to it and give it a hug.

If you see a giga in the wild simply inform the alpha tribe and wait to see if they come over to tame it and once knocked out kill the giga and get quped by the alpha :D

Don’t even be anywhere near one if they’re at half or lower health. They will turn into the personification of doomsday and go bats**t crazy even if it is a tame it will knock you off and eat you. Their eyes glow orange when this happens so watch for that.

They are complete pains in the ass I found a level 7 and it took 100 metal arrows plus 100 shotgun shells from a pump action shotgun plus 100 shots from a longneck and it didn’t even get bloody their f**king asses

Was shooting a 230 with tranq arrows and it decided to go off the cliff and into the water and since ark glaciers ARENT ACTUALLY FREAKING GLACIARS THE THING DIED.

Find a 150 on official & sling shot it down.

It is way better to tame a high level GiGa than a low level. Tame a bunch of Quetzals (I have 4 that are low level) and farm enough eggs to tame a high level Giga. Stick up on the resources you need to knock it out and keep it down.

If you fite a giga you should not use a mele weapon because it will kill you in one hit so use a raged weapon or maybe 10 t Rex's or go craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazy with tek armor and a tek rifle

You can cross breed with flying creatures to make flying gigas- very useful for harvesting cactus sap on the island - force feed it human feces for a power boost .

If you see a giga you better have a army of level 150+rexes

Do not face it trap it in a metal dino gateways and in the middle put a large bear trap

I shot 200 tranquilizer arrows into that gurgsplurt with a journey man crossbow and then when it broke, 100 tranquilizer arrows with a bow, then waited 5 minutes and nothing happened! It was level 4! Good luck.
