The Giant Bee is found in hives on cliff faces, rocky outcrops, and redwood areas, where worker swarms can overwhelm explorers and dismount riders. Break or burn the hive from a distance while avoiding damage to the queen, then use Bug Repellent and Ghillie armor, crouch, and approach carefully to passively feed her Rare Flowers or suitable kibble. Once tamed, the queen can be converted into a placeable hive at your base, which consumes Rare Flowers to produce Giant Bee Honey for fishing and recipes. Worker bees provide limited defense, but interacting with hives or exposed queens still requires caution and a quick retreat.
